No worse than 2nd place guaranteed!

Price....

Team depth and stepping up with two of your leaders not in the line up...

Way to go boys!

Has anyone ever noticed that Neil never tries to start a fight with a legit tough guy or fighter?

He is a wuss, glad to see last game against the Bruins when he did his cheap shot on Reich that Thornton kicked his butt!

I hate that wimp!!

What a great season us habs fans are having the chance to see!!! Great to see Habs win the divsion tonight. Loving the way Price and the rest of the team is playing. Shutout!!! I think its get how the team celebrates with the facewashes but tonight it was kinda funny how it seemed that Carey and Christopher seemed to share a momment together alone at the end of the game C <3 C 4ever

Loved the way the guys came out and stepped up.

Could the Sens be out of the playoffs?

Such a huge game and the sens blinked

Ottawa is out. It's that real.
And if they play like they did tonight,

Boston needs the points, and Toronto of all teams is not going to lay down for the Sens.

Meanwhile, Montreal has made themselves all but immune to spoiler teams tonight.

How did we go to being predicted in the lottery... to fighting for 8th... to fighting for home ice... to fighting for the division... to a point where second seed is the worst-case scenario???

Sergei is an awful centreman. I didn't like that idea to begin with. Natural wingers should not be converted. Carbo got the hint though and made Higgins centre later in the game. Keep Sergei a winger so in the future you can put a big centreman between him and his brother.

With the way the canadians are playing I'm not regretting that I dropped 900 bucks on box tickets for game 1. :

correct me if I am wrong, but is this not the 4th straight season the Northeast has had a new champ?

Boston 04, Ottawa 06, Buffalo 07, Habs 08?

Sergei has the natural skill and vision to be a centreman, but you can't just take up the position in an NHL game at this time of the year with one practice and expect to be good at it. Sergei's probably never taken faceoffs in his life and he's facing guys who have been doing it their entire careers.

The thing I'm worried about is that it seemed to rattle Sergei's confidence - three penalties in the game I believe. Hopefully they take him aside, congratulate him on the effort, but tell him he'll be sticking to the wing.

I just shudder to think what would happen on that 2005 day if the Habs took Brule and let the Sens pick Price (as Muckler said in one of the interview pre-draft). (Not that goaltending is their problem in this game ... but leading to this game)

Brisebois, Smolinski and Dandenault were all great tonight. I've truly been impressed with Smolinski lately and all three of those guys played awesome tonight.

Price was unbelievable and Kovy's line played awesome again.

I love this team!!! and how about Latendresse using that speed to draw a penalty on Commodore in the first lol

Well that's why wingers can't be converted to centre. It's a complex position to play if you're not used to it. Like when Kovalev played centre before, he just wasn't that good there. It is much easier for a centre to convert to winger though. I understand that he already plays like one, but he's thrived his whole career as a winger, why change it up?

Hard to believe they couldn't even score a goal. The Senators play the Leafs and the Bruins on thursday and Friday. They can indeed miss the playoffs with 2 losses.
