I'm not so sure about this. I don't know if Barker is really what Anaheim defense lack and with Thelen probably available at our spot I would wait before trading up.

I would think Gerber's value would be the same as was Kiprusoff's value at the time of the trade last year (what a steal that turned out to be)...

So I say Gerber would fetch a 2nd round draft pick.

GO FLAMES!!!

By the time Leclaire is ready for backup duty, either move Gerber or maybe he'll want to go back to Europe to finish out his carrer.
Gerber wants the opportunity to be a starter and Anaheim wants to fill this dream for him...
Sure Columbus would love to have Gerber (lost of teams would), but he'd really be in a similar situation he is here in Anaheim, stuck behind a younger goalie. Anaheim looks intent on fulfillinhg Gerber's wishes to have a chance to be a starter

If that's the case then where is he going to go where he's able to be "the man". There aren't alot of teams that don't already have starters. Will LA keep Chechmanek? I heard Huet isn't coming back, so they have a large hole in goal. Are the Oilers content on using Conklin as the starter? Umm...the Yotes have a magic door of goalies, maybe he could go there.

There really aren't alot of options for Gerber and the Ducks when it comes to trading partners. That will only lower his value.
