Was it me or was Hainsey getting "owned" last night? He really seemed off and not with it. Maybe he's feeling pressure about the upcoming free-agency and feeling the push from the Cuse boys that have come up and made a name for themselves.

Was that before or after he scored the goal?
Or was that when he was on the bench watching Pazzy score on himself?

I'm just glad that he's able to play at all. With all the uncertainty of not being resigned already, it's a wonder he hasn't cracked .... or hopped a jet to Colorado.

I probably would have had to be talked down from the roof of my house by the authorities.

I actually laughed when it happened; that's what being a Blue Jackets fan from day one will do to you.

That was when he was outstretched, falling down as a RedWing was buzzing right past him on the way to the goal. Hainsey thrives on the PP, not so much on 5-5.

The worst part was that it was expected.
I expected us to lose in regulation when we were up 2-1 with 6 minutes to go.
That's a dang bummer.

I almost posted impulsively and emotionally following the game, but I remembered that we have plenty of that.

There was a play were Detroit blew right by him, he flopped around a bit, fell over, and pretty much got wtfpwned. Not one of his finers moments. We got lucky on that one.

One of these days people will start to realize that just because you score a goal or didn't get scored on, that doesn't mean you actually had a good game.

In the last month (13 games) Hainsey has only 1 goal (last night) 2 assists and is a -9. So he's been getting scored on much more than doing any scoring. Heck, since mid January, he only has 3 goals. Where did he go??????

Working on his resume for his impending free agency?

PP specialist that's not very special on the PP. - player 5 on 5 in a 3/4 role. "Offensive" player with poor puck handling skills. I'd pass.

That WOULD have been bad, except that he didn't score when Hainsey fell. He was picked up by Rome who came over to defend him, forcing the guy to pass to a wide open Zetterberg -because Zherdev was standing there instead of covering him. What's also interesting is that Zh knew Ze was coming, ...you can see Z looking over his shoulder. Not a bright moment for Nik.

Check out the video evidence at http://bluejackets.nhl.tv/team/console

Now on the winning goal, it looks like Hainsey (can't tell for sure) has gone to the correct position -in the corner, to receive the puck from Pazzy. Rome has gone to the other corner on the other side, ie -good positional hockey, ...but as we know, Pazzy muffs the pass.

No it was bad. Just because there wasn't a bad result, doesn't make it not bad.

There were plenty of people that didn't have good games. Don't deflect from Hainsey because the puck didn't end up in the net. And don't try to deflect by saying someone screwed up worse.

Make people accountable for what they do, quit with the "Look, oooh shiney" approach.

Wow, that's really lazy of Zherdev (been doing that a lot of late). Didn't pick that up during the game.

Yeah, if you roll it back and watch the part just before, you can see what Hitch was upset about... guys were standing upright watching the play. Can't tell for sure, but looked like a big line change was going on too.
