Carolina owns the tie breaker against Washington.. That's why Washington will be fighting Ottawa for the playoff spot and not SE division title. (If Washington, Carolina & Ottawa finish with 94 points.)

Tie Breaker only counts with Washington & Ottawa.. Washington has taken the season series.

Boston & Philly would have more points than Ottawa, assuming Boston & Philly win their games.
I have a feeling Carolina might lose tonight against Florida. Carolina has a 5-2 record against them this season, yet, except for the first two games that went 4-2 each way, the rest of the games were decided by one goal. Also, Florida is 2-1 at home this year against Carolina and tonight's game is set in Miami.

Bruins win tonight and lose to the Devils on Sunday. Along with Pits beating Philly, we play the Bruins I believe.

I think it's unlikely we play Philly.

If the Boston / Ottawa score holds up, it's either Ottawa or Boston for us.

Of course, depending on us winning our game tomorrow.

You can cross Washington off that list.

No Washington is a damn good news IMO.

Ottawa, Boston, Philly... No preference. Ottawa and Philly are on a terrible slump since Christmas, and Boston... well... is Boston.

What, so Carolina and Washington can both get in? THat only happens if Boston blows their game in regulation tonight and loses to Buffalo. So no. The team that gets in of those two wins the Southeast and therefore gets 3rd. IOW, the chances are <1% so yes scratch Washington off the list.

after tonight

Pitts 102 (1)
Mtl 102 (1)
Car 92 (0)
NJ 97 (1)
NYR 95 (1)
Ott 94 (0)
Bos 94 (1)
Philly 93 (1)
----------
Wash 92 (1)

So most likely scenario: If we win and Pitts win (philly loses) and Bos wins and Wash wins....carolina is out

Pitts vs Philly
Mtl vs Ott
Wash vs Bos
NJ vs NYR
