I've always preferred the white away jersey for looks.

I think what I was hoping for from Adidas was something a bit lighter in feel, and not so baggy, like wearing a garbage bag.

I haven't seen it in any of the images I've seen of the red sweater. It's not on the Preds or Blues home sweaters in this thread either.

If you click on the tweet i linked before it shows the entire red jersey.

Edit: I've seen a video of them spinning around and also another picture and that logo was not present so I guess we will have to wait until the awards show. Maybe it's the difference between authentic and replica?

Down the road , 2 inch advertising patch to start ...lol
Those patches will only be on the authentic jerseys that fans buy. They won't be on the jerseys that players wear on the ice.

Rebook did the same with their replica jerseys, except their patch was much bigger and a lot more obnoxious.

So, what I was saying yesterday about ADIDAS only making the authentic jerseys is true.
Fanatics will be making the replicas, which I'm assuming will use cheaper materials and will not feature fight straps, like previous replicas, but will look identically the same, design wise. It will also be much more affordable than the $300+ price point for the authentic.
What will be a real turn off for myself is if the Fanatics branding is put on the jersey in place of the ADIDAS branding. I'd prefer it to be blank haha

I would like the white to follow this template.

The whites just look better to me with that stripe.

These are one of my favourites. I like the white jerseys without it but they are still really plain.

Yeah I love those jerseys. The ones they wore at the winter classic were so nice too. We need to go back to those.

Also, the Minnesota jerseys are beautiful. I always liked them but now they are perfect.

I bought a Price road jersey while the Reebok's are on sale. The laces on the new jerseys look out of place with that kind of collar.

Just a heads up.

Yeah sure, because nhl teams don't like money.

At least you corrected yourself. The Fanatics deal was well known a while ago and your post saying only $300 authentics would be available was way off.

I was simply pointing out that the only ADIDAS jerseys that were going to be available for purchase were the authentics and that they wouldn't be making the affordable replicas that most people purchase instead. I never said ONLY the $300 authentics would be available for purchase. Reading comprehension is a hell of a talent.

It is, but writing clearly so multiple people don't misunderstand you is definitely an undervalued virtue.

For those that didn't know, Fanatics branded replicas will be the "affordable" jersey option for the next 16 years: https://www.nhl.com/news/fanatics-ex...hl/c-283078976

I was clearly only discussing the ADIDAS jersey, why you would go out on a limb and assume I meant any other version is on you.

It's been public for 8 months now that the only replica jerseys would be Fanatics branded as of next season. You're right, I shouldn't assume this was widely known as it may have flown under the radar.

Still no word on whether or not the borders will be replaced around the numbers on the white jersey?

No joke, I bought one...IN THE OFFSEASON! (About a month ago.)

I knew it was risky, but I thought there was an 80% chance we'd resign him.

That said, I got the one from CoolHockey, so it only cost $80. I was willing to risk it. It actually came out perfect, which is very sad. If people don't want to pay for the Fanatics ones, you can get last season's Reebok ones for almost half the price. Website says it's final clearance, so now would be a good time.

I'm a sucker, so I'll be waiting for Sept to get my Drouin 92 Adidas.

I'm torn though between him and Duchene.

Hoping for a return to this style for the numbers on the road uniforms, just looks so much cleaner.

Adidas owns Reebok so my guess is they will do similar to the Reebok which had 2 jerseys. One for $160-180 and the other the official north of 200$ jersey. If anything they will license their brand to fanatics.

Also interesting of note Adidas just sold CCM for 100M to a private equity firm
