Patrick, I expect to be a very good player for us but not on that level or really even close.

To be fair the Flyers have had higher quality forwards in their history so it's much harder to climb.
Provy is going to have a tough time being better than Mark Howe, but if he is, he's in the HHOF for sure.

Don't set limits on how great Patrick can be before he even starts. He was awesome as a rookie and in his D-1 year in Brandon. Pity he got hurt in the finals and didn't have his full speed in the MemCup or last season. I think he might surprise people with how good his overall game is and he could be a beast once he fills out.

Why are you still following him?

I don't think there was any doubt that this deal was gonna get done, but as an outsider I think you guys got yourselves a hell of a player. I think the lessened hype around Patrick's game might actually benefit him in terms of pressure to perform and I have this gut feeling that he may go on to be a better player than Hischier in the long run. I could see him having Tavares level production with a better two way game and if that's the case, Id say having him and Provorov in your lineup bodes pretty well for your future.

Oh, I'm extremely high on Patrick. I didn't mean any of that as a knock on him.

I see a lot of Tavares in him too. I know Tavares was a more hyped prospect and for good reason, but Patrick does a lot of the same things well as him. Not many two-way Centers with good size and playmaking ability also have an incredible shot.

Yea, it's there and SoundCloud. Probably some other places, but I like to be consistent and simple.

I believe that Getting Bullied is a joint venture involving the guys from Philly Is Flyer (some of whom are good, some of whom are not so much).

I just turned this on. The host said he had never seen Phil Myers before development camp. Ehhh... not a good sign. He's gushing over him. Welcome to November 2015 on this board.

The host is a little rough around the edges, but he's not the main info most of the time. He's had a rotation of guests that do their fair share of watching and evaluating.

It's ok if these guys who are just trying to do this aren't perfect.

Thanks very much for your positive words. I am trying to temper my projections for Patrick as a pessimist defense mechanism.

He scored 62 points (34 goals + 28A) in 66 games, which is pretty darn good considering he wasn't even a vet on his team, can't skate and is out of shape.

I've said it before, I was always impressed by him from watching Bulldogs games on local cable here (and a few live ones). Just knows where to be and how to score or make plays. Great hands, vision, hockey sense.

When his skating and conditioning improve, he could be a very impressive 4LW to Ratcliffe's 3LW. What team Hexy's building!

doubt there's anything to this, but this depth chart has Patrick's number listed as 5 for some reason

#5? Why? #19 is clearly open.

yeah not sure if it was just a random fill in because he hadn't picked a number yet, false information, or if they know something we don't lol

since someone made the conscious decision to put 5 there instead of "--" or "N/A" it's probably either false info or they know something we don't...
