Augustin scored 3 in 20 minutes for his first minutes with RBL. Weak opponent, but brilliant debut still.

If you can't get away from work that's one thing, but it's not hard to book such a trip. You also probably don't have to miss a week away from work as you could do a long weekend. Of course taking a longer vacation is probably a better idea.

I didn't get to watch the game, but apparently it was pretty chippy.

Valencia got sent off for a heavy challenge on a player that had injured Mata a few minutes earlier.

Apparently the ref went to Mourinho to give him the chance to sub Valencia off after the foul, but Mourinho refused so the ref issue the red.

Bayern's first Asia Tour game in about an hour against Arsenal.

James and Tolisso both starting.

Should be bigger lead than 1-0, but Arsenal should have scored one, as well. Bayern 3/4.

Javi? I thought you probably meant Bernat for the PK? When did Javi dive, on that situation with Lacazette?

Bernat was awful too. Javi dived just after the pen incident

Bayern looking very good anyway. Fluid.

Our CM is just awful. Ozil lazy as usual. Kolasinac was brutal before being subbed off...

Will be a long season if we don'T sign a decent B2B CM to play with Xhaka...

Alright, I'll have to refrain from commenting then, didn't see that, I suppose. Although he really isn't a guy that has any history of diving.

Salah and Mane are going to be too much for a lot of clubs to stop this season.

Solanke though. He's been very impressive wow.

https://streamable.com/0ncbo (gotta love those Orange jerseys my lord)

Also Henderson has looked great as well. Very sharp since coming back from injury. Glad to see it hasn't affected his form even if it's taken him out for a long time. Hopefully they can manage it better this season so we have him for the important times.

I REALLY wish Arsenal would stop these stupid around the world trips in remote countries. I don't know which Asian country we're in for this stupid tour, but the crowd was quite pathetic. I would much rather stay in London or western Europe and do that preseason tournament cup thing we did a couple years ago with the likes of Monaco and Benfica.

On the other hand, we definitely need two solid talents' to rejuvenate our midfield. I get that Lemar can play as a CAM, but he most likely will be bought to play outwide instead of the middle (and good chance not this year). And we just can't rely on Ramsey, Wilshere, and Cazorla to stay healthy anymore. And you can't rely on Oezil to bring his effort in every game. And don't want to play El Neny and Coquelin against the likes of Man City. Only player I will give some benefit of the doubt is Xhaka who had a strong finish last year and maybe needed that one year to adjust to the EPL (which we've seen a countless number of times with players).

Meh....

Arsenal players have dived in the past and I can't excuse for some of the worst by Oezil and Sanchez just last year.

However, as a club, Arsenal have definitely had some of the tiniest amount of diving I've seen. I mean if you compare this to Real or Chelsea, it's a night and day difference. So Gunners should be proud that their team isn't full of consistent divers compared to the likes of others.

You can tell how long some people have been fans by this conversation. Eduardo anyone? Every team has tons of divers, don't defend any team in this conversation please.

Solanke will wind up taking Origi's spot.

I think there are enough minutes to go around, but if Ings or Sturridge are actually fit, I might loan him.

Ings should be loaned or sold.

Considering one of our strikers gets hurt all the time, we'll need four strikers this season. In this market the Solanke move will prove to be very nifty.

It's not really when I became a fan which matters, I just wanted to include players that are relevant. Players like Eduardo and around that era have all but retired making them not worthy of a discussion even if they were notorious divers like he was.

Arsenal is still doing the Emirates Cup this year in 10 days. Arsenal, RB Leipzig, Sevilla, and Benfica are the teams partiipating. Arsenal was in China. Arsenal does preseasons tours to help build its brand around the world. This is important with regards to maximizing sponsorship and merchandising revenue, as well as making Arsenal a more prestigious club. Complaining about them is nonsensical.

Good crowd in Houston for the Manchester derby. Sounds heavily pro-United.
