I think it's a decent signing, but certainly not from a defensive standpoint. Most of Detroit's worst defensive alignments came with KCP on the floor. Although that may be in part because he played most of his minutes with Drummond and Jackson.

Either way I don't think this signing means much other than it gives the Lakers a shooter and improves their back court. Also puts Clarkson back in the 6th man role where he is better suited.

If only he could slap a Big Baller Brand logo on a pair of Kobe's.

Lonzo looked great yesterday. I still have questions about his ability to get his shot off but he's going to be really fun to watch.

Knickas are arguably the worst franchise in sports yet still come out on top, valued 5th in NA at $3.3 Billion.

Lebron watching his future teammate Lonzo last night. He isn't even pretending to be interested in Cleveland anymore.

It's just summer league but this group of rookies look amazing so far.

Between Lonzo, Tatum, Fox, Smith Jr., Jackson, etc. we've seen some awesome performances. The little we saw of Fultz looked great too.

You hope that a guy with that kind of athleticism and entertainment value stays healthy. He was on par or better than many of the top guys in this draft last year.

I'm a huge Lonzo fan and its great to see him playing this good - despite his dad's antics I really wanna see Zo kill me in the league.

Someone made a good theory... maybe Lonzo wore the Kobe's and then the Harden's to get the two shoe companies into a bidding war over his services.... & LaVar's $1 B asking price was just a decoy.

I think New Orleans is a great spot for Rondo. Davis, Cousins and Holliday are all great scoring options.

Liking the LA/Brooklyn trade more and more. Kyle Kuzma is looking like a real good pick at #27.

Is it me or the Summer League has gotten bigger? It feels like the NBA is year-round. I don't remember Summer League scores being on the ESPN ticker in the past.

I can't watch Lonzo Ball highlights without thinking what he and Russell would of looked like in the back-court.

Such as stupid decision to get rid of him...

He and Lonzo have great chemistry. Who knows if Zo and Russell would have played this well together.

Lonzo tearing it up again. Double double at the half.

He puts up points but most amazingly is a huge assist man too.

So Lonzo did well again but he got nicked up a bit and might not play in the Summer League final. That other kid is pretty good too. Nobody is saying the Lakers will win the west but they will win about 40 games next season.

yeah i'm still not over that

i get why they did it but thinking about they could have had a d-lo and ball back court really pisses me off. they desperately need shooters to surround ball with yet they had one in d-lo
