Yeah, I look forward to watching a game all day and it turns to this
Ugh

Not insurmountable, but hopefully we will keep up pressure and stay out of the box

Blues announcers are worse than Rimer and Gare.

As someone who has had Center Ice for 5 years, Rimer and Gare, sadly, are about middle of the pack. There are a lot of lousy announcers out there.

Yep, yep. Everything in order. Jackets down by 2. 47 seconds to speed read the thread. Skraut mostly talking to himself. Chatroom abandoned.

*sigh*

I'm a blues fan and I agree that the blues announcers are awful, at least federko says some dumb stuff that makes me laugh, kelly is a moron

Tell me again what is so great about Konopka in the NHL? I remember now why I didn't like him last year when we got him.

Where's Pluckfur? She knows these things.

After another scoreless period, all I can ask is "Why Z Why?!?!?"
Why does he insist on passing the puck so much anymore? It's not like anyone else is going to score.

This team is disappointing, I don't know if another 45ish minutes will be worth it, I could be doing something fun like homework or something...

Here's another Nostradamus-like prediction: This off-season, with all the money this team has to play with, we will make a resoundingly UNDERWHELMING handful of moves, setting the stage for yet another disappointing season.

I'm so fed up with this team - it sometimes seems like they have ZERO will to be a winning team whatsoever.

Well...a loss puts us in the 6th spot for the draft pending the lottery this week...we'll have a 6.2% chance of moving up to 2nd and a 17% chance of moving down to 7th.

Boll taking a beating.

Or zero talent...taking the Syracuse Crunch and putting them on the ice in CBJ uniforms isn't exactly a winning formula. I honestly think we had to set an NHL modern day record for "First NHL goals" by players...I wish someone would research on if it was an NHL record...we had AT LEAST 8 goal virgins pop the net this year:

Russell, Murray, Boll, MacKenzie, Lindstrom, Rome, Wilson, Brassard

Not enough experience or talent...really impressive that Hitch got 80 points out of them.

This game

I've been Picture in picturing the Ovechkin-Fedorov game.
Another example of a team which DID turn it around without that great of a lineup, (with excepting of Alexander of course), and with a no-name coach.

Wow...how did Pazzy not get hurt there?

Very exciting so far, looks nice to see everyone in DC wearing red there. That arena is electric.

Not unlike the Boston Bruins. Picked to finish dead last in the Eastern Conference. They're on the way to the playoffs.

But, that's the East, where half of the teams from last year's playoffs aren't in this year. In the West...just one team different from last go-round.

Our team must have suddenly remembered that it set the record for most times shutout last season, we seem to be getting stopped cold increasingly

Maybe next year
