For nightclubs just ask where Richmond St. is. There are a bunch of clubs right on Richmond like G-spot, Joker, Oxygen, Fluid, Money, Tonic, Mad Bar, and Seven. There are also some nice places to go on Adelaide St, which is right next to Richmond. Just go to that area and I'm sure you'll find somewhere nice to go.

I can't help you with hotels, although I'd assume you'll be hard pressed to find any under $100, but I may be wrong.

Have fun, Toronto is a great city at night.

The only accomodation under $100 are motels (I belive). Nothing wrong with Motels if you just wanna sleep and get the hell out in the morning to explore town. Check them out. There are plenty of clubs in the "club stretch" on Adelaide and Richomond Streets between University and Spadina. Ask any Cab driver to take you to the club area and you shouldn't have any problems. There are a few bars with pool halls in that area as well. Once you're in the Richomond/Adelaide area you'll find all you need and its very close to the sky dome as well.
Good Luck.

Don't forget to make the pilgrimage to Maple leaf Gardens the Mecca of Hockey No religious attire needed.

Phoenix is alright too, but it's not in the middle of the club district. For someone coming to Toronto for a night or 2, I'd recommend Richmond/Adelaide, because you've got so many options within a few blocks.

no Hotels in Toronto under $100 a night - your best beat is to stay in Mississauga (or somewhere else in the GTA) and drive down.. it's only half an hour drive at the most.

places to stay in the GTA - Mississauga, North York, Vaughan to name a few... somewhere near a highway would be best!

Hotels are so overrated.

Stay in a nice clean motel, cheap... and as comfortable as a hotel.

The ub way is nice tis time of year

I think your best bet is to phone around normalily you can get a redused rate if you reserve it. i forget how but in my travel and tourism course i took a few years ago you can talk down prices at different times of the year, and this is not a good time for tourism so see what you can do, good luck

and the hot ones are cops

One word of advice:
Have a car
If you dont, rent one. If you dont have a liscence, get one before coming.
Please you don't wanna get stuck with the TTC (public transportation). I'd rather walk.

Have to TOTALLY disagree on that one! Staying downtown there is no need for a car; everything is within walking distance or you can take the subway or grab a cab. Parking at any of the hotels will cost you a small fortune anyway.

Quality Hotel Downtown is new, clean, and heck, it's good enough for the Second City alumni! Call them direct or www.CanadianHotelGuide.com

But anywhere else, use a car, I know there's no space in downtown for a car lol.
Im just saying, dont take the ttc, cause its stressfull. Once downtown walk up Yonge and Bay area, nice buildings and umm other stuff...nudie bars. YAY!!!

Has the Strathcona broken the $100 barrier? That used to be a good deal.

How about the Selby on Sherbourne which I think now has, sadly, been taken over by Howard Johnson. That was $40/night when I stayed there eight years ago.
