we will eventually get bigger at center when Saku hangs them up but not until then.
we got Alot of big kids on there way who are ready and near ready to make the jump to the Nhl level . This team wont be a pleasant team to play against in the coming years thats for sure. A big skilled FAST team who is physical is a deadly combination and that what were morphing into .

I agree we could use some size, but Saku is a pure playoff performer.

Something a little different today. At midnight, one of our most frequent correspondents, The Teacher(Adriano Pagano is a substitute teacher), posted this report card on the game. It's insightful and worth quoting in full:
Offence - A
Offence was clicking on all cylinders today. The first line was the
first line. The second line was clicking as well, Higgins is a beast
when he goes up and down. Latendresse was solid and is showing he might
be a force in the playoffs. I called it about a month ago and i hope he
comes through, we will need his big body.The third line was solid as
solid can be while the 4th line of begin Smokey and Kostops was
absolutely killer. Bodes well for the playoffs.

Even if he said it in a bad way , the guy is right when he says we need a bigger center to replace Koivu . If Plekanec was a giant it wouldn't be a problem , but 2 small first centers is a bad thing during the playoffs , because it 's more hard physically .
That doesn't mean that any big center would do the job , and that doesn't mean that every team with a first big center is a contender team . It 's the bigest need of the Habs . Few months ago , we were having the same problem at the defense . The addition of O'Byrne was exactly what we needed . It's going to be the same story once we will replace Koivu by a stronger center .
The letter writer is just too hard . We CAN win the Stanley cup with Koivu . But having a bigger center would just increase our chances to win it . There is also the possibility to simply get another center and put Koivu at the wing ,
