OT: 110% 08/04/08 Recap

Hi people, well, I felt like doing a little review of tonight's 110% and share it with you guys so here it goes:

First of all, the subject of tonight's show is "What will be the first round surprise ?" This in itself is quite ironic since if anyone could answer that question, then it wouldn't a surprise. Nevertheless, I was still feeling like watching TV so I decided to stick around a bit. Then, the show starts.

Then, Michel Bergeron decides to do a "joke" and give Pagé an autographed portray of Kovalev. After wasted minutes of bad puns about the portray, they finally decide to start talking about hockey.

They start off by talking about the Sens-Pens and Habs-Bruins series and were debating on if a miracle is possible in those series. I guess they are not aware that a miracle is when something impossible happens but hey, let's just ignore this and continue with the review.

Seconds later, Bergeron notices a fly flying around the studio and starts saying **** about the fly being a surprise in the studio and that it's a bad omen. Confused in front of this terrible analogy, I wonder if I should continue watching to know how lame this show will be since they don't really have any news to cover today because they did the playoffs preview yesterday.

Then it finally starts for real (well, I thought so)., they start blabbering about almost all series and saying "oh this could be a surprise lolz" and "orly u tink dalas could beat anaheim?1!" until Pagé tells everyone to shut up to precise that the producer is mentioning him in his earphone that the Flyers COULD surprise Washington (breaking news I guess...)

11:00 is around the corner and La Zone is about to start so they decide to discuss a more unique subject, the Huet trade and relying on Price who could do just like Patrick Roy. Right about here, I lose a bit my focus since some things more interesting were happening (like the sound of water dripping from the melting snow on my window).

After that, they realized they kind of sucked at analysis and they brought in some goalie specialist from "Goalie's World". He starts talking about that if Price gets on a good sequence, he could be intimidating (thank you Captain Obvious).

Then, they finally let Eric Hoziel talk for the first time in the show (about 20 minutes in) and he finally brings an semi-interesting point; the Habs are a good team which is well balanced on each position. Afterwards, he shuts up and the good ol' fatties start blabbering again.

11:12 The show is getting so boring I feel like doing a review about it just to make it less boring WHILE watching it. Nevertheless, unvoluntarily, my brain is filtering their voices and I can't keep up with what they are saying now. I'll try to focus again.

11:13 They start discussing the idea that maybe the league should penalize any player who touches the opposing goaltender which is some of the worst crap I ever heard since d-men often push forwards around and the officials are already having a hard time differentiating if the player jumped on the goalie or not.

11:14 Screw that, I'm changing to La Zone, this is killing me.

Review in grades:

Arguments quality: 2 (Hoziel saved them a bit)
Professionalism: 1
Animation: 4
Show overall quality: 3 (a bit entertaining by how ridiculous it is)

11:15 I open this thread, thinking why the hell would someone do a recap of 110% but still mildly interested.

11:16 SpreeEndaz is babbling non-sense about other's people non-sense. Maybe something is about to happen so I keep reading.

11:19 SpreeEndaz continues to bore me. I start comtemplating the idea of doing a review of reading this thread.

11:21 Screw that, I'm changing to The Flower Hasn't Lost his Poise, this is killing me.

I watched it the other day and my speakers almost blew up when the 5 of them yelled at the same time. That was hysterical Pierre Rinfret was RED like that. This show is beyond bad.

La zone is good when dany dubé is there.

We can safely confirm that 110% has reached a new low of professionalism and insight

I can't believe how 3rd-tier ''analysts and insiders'' homer fanboys like Pagé and Bergeron obtain some sort of credibility in Quebec and are widely regarded as professionals who have good insight regarding the game? It's basically a ass crap circus, and when PJ Stock or Perron are the voice of reasons there,it's quite sad.

Remember when those idiots consistently bashed Koivu for no valid reason at all?And lately, when they bashed Kovalev for promoting his DVD?

You know, that midget Finnish with no finish who keeps getting injured with no leadership you always talk about explicitly or implicitly.

Obviously its not entertaining, the Canadiens finished first. When is 110% ever interesting when they have nothing to complain about?

And talking about him as the lone reason the Habs were mediocre and how he should've been traded/replaced for a franco.Right,Zamboni?

Meh. I love 110%. The guys look like they have on the set and I have fun watching it. I'll even say I liked Michel Beaudry over there.

La Zone may be more serious and technical, but it's also a lot more boring, and I can't stand Michel Villeneuve.

At 11:10 i was sleeping in the couch. what i hate was Rinfret said there are no chance that Boston beat Mtl.

I think Mtl will win but said that there no chance is a little bit too much. You need to respect your opponent to beat them.

I stopped watching 110% since La Zone started. At least the guys can talk there without having to shout.

Not only did you waste your time watching 110% but you also wasted all that time writing a stupid recap of the show?
Man, bad decisions all around...
