Tom Kostopoulos

For your info guys, Francois Gagnon wrote an article today about Tom Kostopoulos. To make a long story short, Gagnon tells that Kostopoulos was asked by kids to play street hockey with them yesterday. He got his running shoes, a hockey stick, went outside and played with them. Kids were calling him Mr. Kostopoulos. He said they should call him Tom. They stopped to call him Mr., but still calling him Kostopoulos.

I LOVE to hear stories like that.

http://blogues.cyberpresse.ca/gagnon/?p=70313342

Quote:

He talks about it there and he tells a bit more than what Gagnon wrote.

Love it when guys like him do **** for kicks and because they're just good people and not to get publicity out of it.
Thanks for the info.

When I was a kid Dean McAmmond played Junior in my hometown and came out to play street hockey with us one day. Another really nice guy, I've liked him ever since. Too bad he plays for the Sens now.

HAHAHA there's a nice quote in that thread:
"That said, he won't challenge Ryder for the team goal scoring title."

Hasn't he played about 100 playoff games?

edit; nevermind, I got confused for a moment there.
