From what I can tell, either team wouldn't be too hard but even if the Flyers win the series, I'm not too scared. Sure, the Caps got in but are they a great team? Hell no. Take away Ovechkin and they're as ordinary as it gets. Flyers are built much like the Bruins and barely played us any better in the reg. season. Bruins-Flyers is an ideal route if we want to get to a conf. final and we'll deal with that bridge if/when we come to it.

Flukey goal bouncing off a net-crasher.

Sykora is the ultimate benefactor. This guy looked like crap in New York, had a good opening to 06-07 but faded for Edmonton and now he's lighting it up in Pitt. A complimentary offensive player, like a Cory Stillman.

Yep, but if you have a Malkin a guy like that is hugely valuable.
Ryder playing well was a necessity for Koivu. Ryder goes into a slump... and Koivu just about automatically does as well.

Danny B!!! Feels dirty rooting for Philly but you gotta what you gotta do. I sure as **** wasn't complaining when the Sabres swept the Bruins in 1993.

That got to hurt, Briere score another goal. Washington don't know how to react.

Man, I thought you were going to say that Koivu is back for game two...
No seriously, what do you expect when you have Lundqvist vs Brodeur and also two offensive challenged teams?
