I feel sorry for Thomas, Julien, and every Bruins fan. Honestly, that was such a weak call to make.

On the other hand, the refs missed so many penalties on the B's tonight... it was kind of to be expected.

I feel terrible for them. I really hope they get an early start to their summer so they can recover.

How was that a weak call? He poked his stick under Anrei's blade while Markov was in a full lean high speed turn.

The officiating was terrible.. they took sections of the game and decided which team they'd call penalties on.

That was a follow through ... not a penalty. That's according to Ron Maclean who is a ref himself.

As for Julien and Thomas, no I dont feel sorry for them.

Follow throughs aren't penalties, only people who don't know hockey would say they are.

"A player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion."

I feel sorry, but it's sport -- nice guys only finish first if they put more pucks into the net than the other guy.

That was on a followthru...

no way it should've been called.

Anyway, there were a great number of uncalled penalties on both sides and I dare to say that a bit more on the Bruins side. A lot of hooking calls and obstruction calls were missed on the Ruins.

There was no high stick, Reich put his face next to Markov's stick and got hit on the follow through, no penalty. Read the rules.
