A Habs win tonight puts it a way, a Boston win makes it a series again, I really hope they come out with a better effort tonight.

Although I think Brisebois should be sat out tonight, he has been quite physical in the past 2 games. Decent defensive play.

That said, when Brisebois was struggling at times, Hamr was always a rock and bailed his partner out.

Cube ain't ready, it was made pretty clear on Friday he needed several more days.

O'Byrne needs to play tonight. Streit at forward, Dandy in the stands.

We can't let them control as much of the play as we did last night. Time for this great road team to make a statement on the road too. Let's get the series out of the way before it gets ugly. Sure, we are up 2-0, but 2-1 is a series again. 3-0 and the Bruins can start trembling. I hope the Habs come out a lot stronger tonight.

I think a lot of people agree with this. It's not like Dandy is playing a lot that he can't be sat. The 4th line of Lats-Lappy-Dandy played well under 10 minutes as Carbo went with three lines for most of the night.

Streit might be better on the PP if he gets moved to forward 5-on-5. He wouldn't be taking the pounding from the Bruins down low. O.B. was playing well before being sat.

Dandy can be moved out of the line-up at this point.

NHL network showed the stats from the game last night and the Habs had 28 giveaways to 11 for the Bruins. Can't have that happen again. The Habs played very lazy and to me it seemed like they thought they could play like that and still win (well I guess they did but still).

I suppose it's difficult to maintain your intensity when you've dominated one team so much because the Habs pretty much just played by their talent last night and really didn't work for anything. Thing is, the Habs/Bruins talent difference is pretty wide so the Habs could still win a game without really trying. I just hope they get back to hard work tonight.

And Julien complaining about Reich getting a stick to the face...well he did but it was on the follow through, which is NOT a penalty. Read the rule book Claude before opening your mouth.

Although that is what should be done, I think it's going to take a loss to change Carbo's mind at this point.

But you never know.

tonight is another must win, imo. Bruins win tonight and (in a way) they're back in the series.

We'll need a big game from the top 2 lines. And of course, another strong showing from Price.

Oh, and don't take penalties.

IF the Bruins win ONE game in the series, it will have to be this one tonight. And after that we win the 2nd game in Boston and finish it in MTL.

But if Boston loses tonight, this will be over in four. And i predict Carbo will wear his Magic tie not tonight but whenever we're up 3-0 in the series and we play the clincher.

I honestly didn't think Boston would come that close last game, I thought their best chance to win would be tonight.

I want Gorges to score, I don't even care if it's into an empty net, as long as it's not into ours. haha

I think I'll switch it up and watch the game on RDS. Games I've watched on RDS, we're 2-0, so who knows. haha

Dandy and Laps play with purse speed and grit. If they get it on net and keep it in the B's end and wear out D men thats a good night.

And I thought only O'Byrne was playing with purse...

Smolinski's night! 1 goal, 1 assist tonight.

I really don't think there's a need for a "big" line-up change. I'm not ready to see Greg ****in' Stewart tossed into the fire just to get Dandeneault out and while I'm weary of Brisebois wearing down in back-to-back playoff nights, I think he has shown some relative savvy when getting hit so that's pretty encouraging.

"Hamrlik around the boards, to the young Gregory Stewart, in his first playoff game! OHHHH HE JUST GOT NAILED BY THE BIG MAN, ZDENO CHARA!!"
