Please post any advice, etc. especially you guys getting back from Game 3.
I'm heading out early Tuesday AM to catch Game 4. Staying in Woburn and current thought is to park at Wellington Station and take the 3 stop ride to the Garden.
How's the Will Call pick-up work, any window? Big lineups?
I've heard that it is tradition in Boston to greet anyone wearing yellow and black with a swift kick to their shins. Not sure how reliable that info is. If you feel brave, give it a try and let us know how you get on
Enjoy the game/trip dude, hopefully our boys give you something to celebrate.

There's two ways to pick up your tickets. There are windows by the ticket booth (right down the hall from where you go in to the garden) and there are new ticket kiosks right across from the garden entance that you can swipe the credit card you used and it will print them out for you.
The stop at the garden (North Station) is right outside the entrance to the building. Have fun!

Why stay in Woburn?
There are lots of hotels much closer to the Garden and the atmosphere is much better.

Cost and to stay away from the city core (driving). Anything decent/nearer is either fully booked or $160 or more. Woburn looks to be about 15km away and we can get to a transit stop close to the Garden coming in from the north, no switching lines.
Plus I'll have the boy with me; we'll be heading across to Salem on Wednesday to hang some witches.

Does that work if Ticketmaster says to pick up at "Canadian Will Call"?

Give yourself a little extra time crossing the border. It took me 90 minutes to get across yesterday at US 89 in Vermont. It normally is about 20 minutes on a Sunday at noon, but with so many people heading to the Game, it was really backed up. If you have time before the game and like a good beer, head to Boston Beer Works across from the T-Stop on Canal Street.

Yes, but don't try to pick up the tickets before Game day it doesn't work, you have to pick them up on game day..it works really well, you just have to swipe your card and you don't have to wait in line (Well I didn't, but I picked them up at 2PM)
Enjoy the trip! Hopefully there will be as many Hab fans as there was yesterday..it was crazy! Too bad they lost..
There are some good Bed and Breakfasts on Blue Hill Avenue. You can just walk down there with your luggage and you'll have no problem finding good hospitality at reasonable rates. And don't forget the game starts at 8, not 7.

Now that is funny...... Of course they might have their Habs Jersey stolen so they could use it with the BB game at the park!
If you really want to avoid backups at the border, you could take 15 South and cross at Champlain, NY. From there, you can either take the ferry over to Rt. 89 in Vermont, or you could stay on I-87 South to Albany and then get on I-90 East. I-90 will take you to Boston. Distance-wise, they're probably both longer, but if the border at Vermont is really getting backups of over an hour, crossing at Champlain and either taking the ferry or going through NY might take less time total.

You know, I started a thread here asking for info after asking on your board first. I guess this just proves that idiots show up wherever you go.
