Unless you're playing in the NHL, I'd take ugly fishbowl cage over ugly puck/stick-mangled face.

After playing with a half visor for the last 7 years, I've decided that I'm going to try to go back to having my entire face covered. That doesn't mean I'm going to want to use that thing, though.

Looks like a clear version of what Shredder wore over his face in the Ninja Turtles

Yeah, whatever... people, however, backorder it @ $99US or higher. It reportedly wears like half shield being very light and offers true optical sight similar to Oakley or better Itechs.

The vision should be the same as an FX-50, shouldn't it? It appears to use the same switchable "glass" as the DX-100 half visor and FX-50 visor/cage combo.

True. But I picked up a couple of visor-cage combos at the store the other day, and the Concept II is RIDICULOUSLY light.

the bottom half looks like a muzzle...but the visor could very well be one of the best out, worth a look atleast

I love the concept II. I'm going to try out a cage, just because it's less hassle, but I have a feeling I'll end up with a Concept II, which is what I used when I was last playing with a full cage/visor. I think my love for the concept II is part of the reason for my lack of love for this new thing.

It's that that its an ugly visor... it just doesn't look like a damn thing like a hockey visor. As other people have mentioned, looks like a paintball helmet.

It is switchable, but unlike FX-50 there's nothing else to save after lens is gone. The visor like that should be disposable as Concept II and just cost less.

Wouldn't the whole framework around the removable lens be retained, just like on the FX50?
