Funny thing is the unveiled it Game #2 or whatever. You pay $100 you get unlimited beer, I'm sure some of those ticket packages are pretty steep, but $100 and then this "People who are already intoxicated aren't served beer and free taxi rides are provided to patrons who believe they have had too much to drink, Wickett said. " okay so I have paid $100 I get all the beer I can handle and a free taxi ride home, they arent making money on these season tickets here are they, and they arent going to be making money on beer sales.

Do they really have THAT much trouble drawing fans that now they're going to cater to alcoholics?

If it helps the Lightning sell tickets without losing profits, I don't see what's so wrong with the idea.

Yeah. If the fans are intoxicated enough they'll cheer for the Flyers by mistake.

Let em have all the beer they want

here's a better idea. shut the franchise down and have a dispersal draft.

I'm actually in favor of contraction, but Tampa sure isn't one of the half-dozen franchises I'd first name for shutting down.

*Moves to Tampa, purchases season tickets, personally sees to it that large sums of money are lost*
