Great D-Zone coverage video

For all those on Beer League Teams who play on a team where the people on the team are, to be kind, not proficient when it comes to defensive zone coverage, I present to you a great video to pass along.

Thanks, I will pass it along to my Roller team. We play 4on4 but I think you just basically take the center position out of the equation and your basically playing the same style.

Good watch.

This is amazingly perfect. I now understand how to read the ice so much better. I made a lot more defensive plays as a center last night and was piling up the takeaways, bringing our team to the offensive zone a lot more. I'm way more confident after that eye opener. I showed this to my entire team, and in one game we had a noticeable increase in our defensive confidence later in the game when we're usually in disarray with exhaustion.

This MUST be stickied.

Thanks, that's a very helpful vid. Do you have one for offensive zone positioning?

No such thing.
Just stay away from defenders.

LOL, I'd have to look look around. YouTube is a great source of hockey wealth it seems. All I did was search on google for 'Defensive Zone Coverage hockey' and that video popped up.

Yea does anyone else have any links to any videos for offensive or defensive strategy that are good as this one? In my limited youtube searching I couldn't find any instructional videos such as this.

That's not going to work. If it's 4 on 4 roller, play man to man.
