See, that's what I love about the Garden. It's not like every arena in that it has the walkway between the purple and the blue seats. It makes it so much easier to get around instead of having to enter through your designated section. Instead you can pop in through any entrance and walk freely.

The players walking past fans is cool! I love it, but you know someone will act stupid in that area.

But the roof will remain the same?

The roof IMO is the only ugly part of MSG right now...

I love how they had to have ONE Knicks picture in there.

As for the Walk of Fame/Shame thing, I gotta think the velvet rope will be further away than that, but I guess we'll see. The cynical New Yorker in me says this screams trouble. This isn't some some small market lovefest with their hockey players. Some drunk, DB Isle, Devil, or Flyers fan will do something asinine in there.

Wait...

They're not getting rid of sections in the 400's then? I was under the impression they were.

Can anyone clarify?

I love the roof... it's unique. Take that away, and it's not the same.

My concern is that without the walkway, my 100 level seats will somehow become clubs, forcing me back into the 300's (since I believe the luxury boxes will take the place of the current 200's.)

it all looks nice and dandy...as long as they dont hike the ticket prices by another 20% just because of these changes!

Do you see ticket prices coming down? The Garden ownership seems to think they should get an increase EVERY year.

While I was joking about the blue seats going for $100 a pop, do you really think ownership cares? If they feel that they can sell every seat for $100 or more, that's what they'll charge. It's a business, not a charity.

Those ice level suites, coming up from under the stands are a great idea.

I just sat in the luxury suite up on the 10th floor, and although a great viewing experience, you are pretty high up there. The mid level suites are going to be perfect views.

I can't wait to see how much those boxes are going to go for.

Actually all ticket prices will certainly go up.

But it look really nice!

Hopefully they forgot something in those simulated pictures for 2012:

Looks expensive...

as in the cost of the seats...

I'm excited about the extra bathroom square footage. Perhaps I can then wait until the period is over instead of ducking out with one minute to play to beat the masses.

They made a point in the press conference about keeping the Blue Seats, and making them actually blue again. Also, The Blue Seat Bar should be a good indicator that they'll remain.

I'd really love to know what the plan is for season ticketholders. Right now I'm in the 200's, about 20 rows from the ice just off the blueline and well... i'd like to stay there but not for $100+. If the whole lower bowl is a fortune a lot of peopl in the 200's/300's are going to get screwed.

did any of the press releases state whether or not the 200s will be included in the lower bowl??? I am assuming the 300s will remain as is and extend to the 400s

if the 200's get the 1st few rows of the upper deck I'll be the happiest guy in the world. I love the view from the 200's but I hate the suits!

There will actually be 3 less boxes, so that's not happening.

We really need to see a more detailed model/drawing. It looks like the boxes will be somewhere in the area of the 200's and/or the current walkway between the the 200's and 300's. One thing that was mentioned was that the front row of 300's will be ~8 feet closer to the ice than they are now. This will be due to the fact that they will be directly on top of the boxes. The question though, is what is the last row before the boxes? Will they be directly behind the last row of the 200's or will they be lower down?
