Another OT thread : but worth it

Fanny, Florian and Julien are very proud to announce the birth of their little brother Sébastien.

Sébastien is born today, at 16:33 Liège (Belgium) time, he weights 3,628kg and measures 50 cm.

Now, that was not an easy time, fellows, it took 4 minutes before Sébastien even breathed, from the early joy of the birth, my wife Muriel and me lived very ugly moments, seeing our joy becoming desperation. With the minutes becoming so long, we anticipated the worst, and we were HELPLESS !

Until the little boy finally cried, that cry was such a relief, you can't believe.

And after another few minutes, when it became clear that he was safe, I couldn't do one thing but go to my wife and cry, yes cry, cry of relief, crying because we were so close to something so wrong.

Now, we are happy, and I wanted you to share my joy with me, the baby is alright, the mother is alright, thanks GOD !!!

I kid, my most sincere congratulations to you and your family.

Glad to hear. Reminds me of a story Jack Gallagher told smack in the middle of a standup routine. I've never heard a crowd go from laughs to eerie silence in so short a span. I can only imagine how helpless that moment is.

It's a sign. Forever Sebastien will be known as the miracle baby born amidst the Avalanche 2008 Cup run!

Cheers mate. Have a Duvel.

Thanks man, you probably know Duvel is my favorite beer

But I only have Jupiler here, which is a more popular beer, but certainly not as good as Duvel

Cheers to all of you

Barely remember Jupiler (I was there in 2000).

You'll be happy to know (and probably already do) that Stella Artois has become huuuuuge here. It's the trendy "European" beer to drink among the college crowd.

My first child (my son) was a premie (5 1/2 weeks early). He was taken by C-Section, after a complicated pregnancy.

The worst moment of my entire life was when I first saw his blue, limp, motionless body.

The greatest moment of my entire life was about 2 minutes (aka, a lifetime, in that situation!) later, when he let out his first cry.

Congratulations, my friend!

They put commas where we put decimal points. Not a whale.

Artois is also popular among the middle-aged man.
