...They need to throw some chaos in there, that's how Brisebois' goal in game 4 happened.
And what better day to throw some chaos into a game than the day Edward Lorenz, 'inventor' of the chaos theory, died. Let the puck go into net like it was trapped in a strange attractor. May the players understand the maximum complexity of a chaotic systen. May the collective 'bhooos' of the 'Ruins fans push the puck in their own net by way of some (very) weird butterfly effect... May the fractal geometry of the ice crystals be kind to the puck when it is gliding one way and less kind when it is gliding the other (our) way... May the noise from the game not hide the orderly system put in place by Carbo... etc.
Koivu is needed...it's as simple as that, but this team is better than the team that folded like a cheap suit vs the Canes a couple of seasons back...Koivu's return can be seen as nothing but good for the Habs!
Defenceman Mark Streit is day-to-day with a hip injury that he suffered in the second period of Game 4. If Streit can play, he will likely take the 4th line RW spot. If he doesn't, then Dandenault or Ryder will play.
I think Dandy and O'byrne will be out. I think you keep in Ryder for the "potential" that he could get going with Koivu and Higgins, and reunite the kid line. This was we have 3 offensive lines. If you keep Dandy in, then we only have 2 offensive lines. We have to hit them where it hurts, on the scoreboard, so we should put in our most offensive talent. I think carbs learned from last game that we need to keep Boston guessing as to what we're gonna do. Right now we're too obvious.
