Do you think Radulov knocked Arnott out of the series??

Hey Preds fans -

I'm a Devils fan () who is watching this series with interest cause I loved Rafalski and Arnott.

Arnott is so tough, I find it hard to believe he would miss do or die games because of stomach flu. Do you think he has concussion problems from the Radulov goal celebration in game 3?

Sounds like that may be the case.

Quote:
Predators center Jason Arnott is doubtful for Game 6 Sunday and David Legwand's status will be determined at game time, coach Barry Trotz told Nashville media on Saturday. The Predators said Friday that Arnott missed Game 5 due to food poisoning/flu-like symptoms, even though he will in the dressing room after the game. He was scheduled to see a doctor this afternoon, leading to speculation as to whether he has post-concussion syndrome, after getting tackled by teammate Alexander Radulov during a goal celebration in Game 3. After that game, Trotz said Arnott was suffering from some sort of "whiplash.''

this is the playoffs remember ... you always conceal your players real injuries (especially your captain's) and especially if he got a concussion/whiplash from one of his teammate's on a POST-GOAL CELEBRATION

Preds fans, just dropping in to wish you the best in the play-offs, and to say that I DO think Arnott's teammate knocked him senseless ... he was not looking right at all after that hit, and I think that is the problem. I say that from our experience with our Carolina concussions this year ... They talk about whiplash right after the hit, and with the way Arnott looked right after ...

BEST OF LUCK TODAY!

Poile said it could have been a puck he took off the back of the head in game 4, since he didn't show any effects until then, that would be my guess as well.

He played the entire next game and practiced before game 5 before it hitting him suddenly. Mike Santos also referenced the puck to the head. Perhaps ARad's hit had some effect but likely not the sole cause and perhaps no relationship at all.

Agreed, I think it was a combination of both incidents that lead to the concussion.

well Arnott has plenty of time now to just rest and heal. Hopefully he'll be fine soon and be ready for camp in sept.
