Breakup

Dear Alex,

It is with great sadness that I compose this letter, bit it's come to the point where I have no other recourse.

We've been through a lot of good times. We won a Division together, won a Conference, won a playoff series, but I think the time has come to go our seperate ways. I will always respect your ability to dance through a thousand opposing defenders and change the course of a game, or slap a puck top corner from across the arena. To my mind, however, those traits are trumped by your utter inability to move your feet when it comes to crunch time and your maddening tendency to coast all over the place when I need the best out of you.

I care about you, Alex, and I know you care about me, but it might be best if we start seeing other people. I'd love to tell you your age has nothing to do with it, but that just might not be the case.

Let's just make this a clean break. Please don't call or write, and don't show up for Game 7 next week (not that I thought you were planning to anyways).

Good bye, Alex. I'll always remember that elbow to Tucker's stupid, stupid face.

Sincerely,

Guillemin

the guy won us a game in the series. that's not so bad. price won a game for us too. and the 4th line won us the other one. however, where is andrei kostitsyn ? plekanec ? markov ? not to mention we miss a very important element for the playoffs : 1 or 2 defensive specialist forwards (blame gainey for that). would the ducks have won the cup last season without palhson. the answer is no.

umm he cost the team the tying goal with his retarded retaliation slash...your point is moot.

the guy has been awful for 6 games, had maybe a few good flashes, but he really needs to bring it game 7.

Dear Alex,

Next game you won't have Zdeno Chara ****** you every shift if Carbonneau gets his head out of his ass and properly matches the lines. Also, hopefully your linemate Andrei Kostitsyn will get his head out of his ass. You've got us to where we are this year and it's too bad other guys haven't been able to step up when you have struggled when having Boston guys hammering you every chance they have got. I'm still your fan and know you will turn it up next game and make some users eat their words on this board.

Thanks,
Hally

Lets wait till game 7 before we decide to throw a guy under the bus... especially after all he's done this year.
