Damnit I thought of the title for Cabaret VI last night.... Seriously...

It was gonna be... Habfan4; The Pretzel Menace.

But... pardon my engineerly geekiness... Episode VI has to be the "Return of the ___" (Beaker/Global Mod/etc) doesn't it?

The Pretzel Menace is a great title for sure, but as Episode VI...

I don't know Beakermania as well as the rest of you all do, so if you say Jar-Jar Binks fits better than Ewoks, I defer to that judgement entirely, of course. (Did we have Episode II: Attack of the Goats yet? What ever happened with Clover? mcphee left us with a cliff-hanger there.)

I get the Return of the __________ angle.... but

Episode IV of the Cabaret was McPhee's Revenge... not A New Hope... so

mcphee often neglects to give the board closure on his goat anecdotes.

Apparently, Daughter the Younger [Danny Gallivan homage] was yelled at and told to let the sheep and duck out as Clover would join them, they've been neglected, stall needs to be cleaned blah blah blah. It worked, in a while, she put some grain in a can, shook like a maraca and they came running.

My Dad let Lenny the Beagle out loose today and while yelling for my wife to come catch him, left the door open, letting the old dog out, headed for the road.

After they were both apprehended, my wife, apparently yelled at the old man, which means now he's pouting, which in turn means I'll have to get involved and 'listen' to someone. Damnit. The playoffs are on.

On the bright side, the dog crap on the pergola looks like the work of birds now, letting me off of that hook.

Yeah... apparently there are birds that go around picking up dog crap and dropping it on pergola roofs there.

I would expect that phrase in a story about gros bill, lord chezz, perhaps even AD or habnot....I never expected to see that phrase associated with your wife and the elder mcphee.

What is that household turning into...runaway goats, flying dog crap, beagles on the lamb, family members in the slammer....

I think it was Lenny and (Carl?) that were in the slammer. Mcphee's significant other is still free as a bird.. or a flying beagle.... or whatever rules the skys of southeastern ontario.

She was talking about her annoynace with the old man. She used the phrase,

'I wanted to kill him, I did' I heard, 'so I did' I looked at her for awhile, as I hadn't been in their house all day, but she explained.

Funny story I would like to share.

Yesterday was a beautiful day in my area so I decided to take my summer car out of storage and take a drive to visit one of my properties in Fergus ON.

Well I got my car on the open road (401 west) with no traffic around me decided to air it out after a long winter.

I took the car up to 160km for a few seconds when I flew by a speed trap. The next thing I know a police car pulled out with their flashing lights on and signaled me to pull over.

So I'm sitting there all pissed off at being so stupid when the cop comes over and asks me for my licence and registration.

When I turn to hand him the information he looks at me wearing my Hab t-shirt and says. "Oh you're a Hab fan?"

So I'm thinking "Great, this cop is probably a Leaf fan and he's going to have me arrested".

But he comes closer to the car and undoes a couple of bottons on his uniform to show me that he's wearing a Hab t-shirt underneath.

He looks at me and winks and says "Us Hab fans have to take stick together, slow it down a little and have a great day."

So that was the highlight of my weekend, what was your Habs related highlight?

Good story.

But... "one of my properties"? Are you owner of tobacco plantations?

Nope, tobacco is bad.

This weekend? Um...

Last week, I went to my pick-up game Friday night, and one of the guys on my team was wearing a Habs jersey. That was nice, since most of the guys around us were wearing Bruins jerseys. Unfortunately, my team got beat pretty bad. But morally, we kicked their ***!
