****! You've gotta be ****ing kidding me!!! Who's the Next coach of the Canucks then, Pratt?

Great. Naslund's going to get another $6 million contract with a NTC, dogs and cats will be mating in the street and NW division will make us their *****es for years to come.

Reminds me of how Tim Allen always used to screw up Wilson's advice on Home Improvement.

I really like what Bruce Dowbiggin had to say about him. I'm not going to make any judgments until I see what he does. That's only fair considering I know nothing about him.

Well this will be interesting. I really liked Nonis and felt that understood what his plan is. I'm really attached to the current crop of players and believe that they could go far with some legitimate offensive help. Going to hang back and see what happens now.

Once it's confirmed get ready for the wave of anger to hit the boards. Such topics will range from Naslund's imminent 100$ million 10 year deal, Kesler and Schneider being traded for a Robert Reichel jersey, and Nonis winning the cup in his first year with Toronto next year.

Well, duh! Don't think you'd hope he does a terrible job. Although with the way some people act around here...

I hope I don't have to ignore have the board when this happens. It's getting difficult enough as it is.

Don't forget signing washed up players to multi year contracts with NTC's. Hey! Perhaps Mike Ricci can come out of retirement?!?!?!?!?

If it is game-worn it better be the game where he took that slapshot on a penalty shot.

I'd be pretty happy with that trade.

So I guess they weren't going after Holland or Nill.

The first round of the playoffs ends on Tuesday and there will be no playoff hockey on Wednesday and Thursday is the 1st day of the 2nd round of the playoffs so it gives the Canucks organization a chance to make the announcement and not overshadow the playoffs.

Timing wise it does make the most sense to announce it then if Aqualini has indeed found his man.
I called it

I'm not liking that he comes in as a Nonis type.
