Isnt it weird that when european player goes to north america, it is usually difficult to hit to the big club eventhough the player shines in europe. And isnt it weird how much better most of the NHL players play than europeans in the national team.
Explination is simple. They play harder in NHL and from there u can learn the right fit and tempo. Tempo is prolly the biggest reason.
I can't believe 3 of the top 4 scorers in the NHL this year were sucky Europeans.
excuseme, but u misunderstood my point. As an NHL player, i also meant ''european NHL-players''.
so if european player goes to ahl, mostly it is difficult to get high. after one or two years in north america player learns better tempo and the style of the NA and if he decides to come play back to europe he will be just better here. And also in the national team.
Its funny how for example a player called Sean Bergenheim has pretty small role in islanders but suddenly when he comes to play for national team, he is a leading player and he looks very dominant, while at the same time another player who is great in europe sucks so damn hard in national team and drops out
