Crosby against Ovechkin would have been awesome, but Avery against Crosby will be a treat to watch when the Habs don't play

I think we can control these guys from start to finish. They don't possess the toughness of Boston and their defense and goaltending are mediocre.
Can Biron really be worst than Thomas?

A better matchup for us than the Rangers. Flyers can be beaten with speed but are a nasty bunch to play against physically. Could be a rerun of the Boston series - if Montreal plays their game, they'll win. If they get lulled into playing Philly's game, they'll lose.

I have a feeling this will be closer than the regular season series, and, hopefully, awesome.

Philly will not be easy but I expect a higher offensive effort. If the series is as exciting as the Philly/Wash, we are in for a treat

Welcome back Danielle Briere!

Should be a tough series but I like our chances better against Philly. Should be fun times.

I'm already ready to swear at Hartnell. He's been a d!ck all season long, and that won't change for round two. The guy's a friggin clown.

I would rather play the Flyers as I've said, and don't get me wrong, I'm glad we avoid the Rangers, but I love the Caps, I LOVE Ovie, I LOVE Huet, so it made me really sad to see their faces as they lost.
Plus now I'm kinda worried the Danielle Briere-booing at the Bell Centre is going to break my TV.

Maybe I'm bitter that Ovie lost, but I can't believe you're so happy having Flyers as your opponent. Be careful of what you wish for... I predict 7 games series.

True, but if we deserve to win, and if we have learned from the last round, we'll play our game, and play as the #1 team in the East, and we will win. I know that there's some IF in that equation, but still, we were the best team in the East, and there's absolutely no reason that we can beat them. And it should be easy to play our game versus the Flyers...they are not a very physical team.

Thomas actually was great in the series, can't see Biron being any better than Thomas was.

Judging by our series against Boston, you're probably right.

It was the Flyers, or the Rangers. It's safe to say that our chances are better versus the Flyers, who aren't rested...

this is what I wanted, but I couldn't help but feel bad for the Caps

Their fans, fairweather as some of them might have been, came out in full force and were really into the game. It's a shame to lose in OT because of a stupid penalty.
