C'mon guys, you are forgetting THE big question: Does PJ Stock now start cheering on his other ex team like there's no tomorrow?

I remember the first time we played them this year he interviewed Stevens and at the end of the interview he basically said ''I hope you guys win tonight...''

In all seriousness, I am happy. This is going to be a good test, no doubt about it. Rangers would have been a GREAT test and that's why I am happy to avoid them. Now them and Pittsburgh can slug it out in a 7 game thriller that will make Bettman sexually excited (biggest market vs most popular player!11!!! OMGZRATINGSONNBC!1!!!)

No kidding!

It'll come back to bite 'em, NYR will beat Pittsburgh in a long tough series.

How many Bruins fans do you think will tune in to this series?

The Habs will have to respect the Flyers more than they did with the Bruins if they want to take an early lead in the series... underrate them could take us in a dangerous position... once again

Let's be humble, let's have humility.

Let's start by saying that....it's not because we dominated in the regular season that it means anything....It doesn't mean squat. Philly to me is, while slower than the Bruins, brings more offense and enough grit to give us tons of trouble. Biron will build on this. We should be the favorite, but it will be a hard-fought series.

Never thought in a million years that they would have won tonight after losing yesterday. They seemed tired at the end but regain some energy in OT. They'll be pumped and ready.

WE SHOULD AND WILL NOT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!

May the best team win!

I sure as hell hope the Habs don't take the Flyers as lightly as some posters here.

They're a good matchup for us, but so were the Bruins apparently and look how that turned out...

The thing we have to watched out for is their PP. It's quite dangerous. Just make sure that we only take a penalty when it is absolutly neccessary. Sergei, no lazy or undisciplined penalties please.

Perfect scenario... we get to play the flyers and as a bonus they are fatigue from an exausting series that went all the way to a game seven O.T.

hahaha, it took them about 5 minutes to start a thread complaining about 2 of their most hated teams playing against each other and one being guaranteed an ECF berth.

Too bad it did not go to double or triple OT.

Habs vs Flyers: This is why you do everything to finish first in the conference during the regular season.

Man, game one is still two days away, and I'm already in a fowl mood.
Look. He's taunting you right now.

Komi must be salivating right now.

Here's one, since he won't be doing this during the series.

Oh they do. I have taken great joy this morning (I'm in Japan, btw) in reading all the "puking in my mouth" posts from fans over on the B's board who are going to be supporting the Flyers. Kind of my own moral victory of the day. That, and I have no classes to teach today, so I get to shoot hoops, hit the drum kit, and lurk on the B's board all day!

I wanted the Caps to win tonight but turns out the Flyers are a better matchup for us now the Pens and the Rangers can tired themselves out. Won't be easy, Should be a great series.

Habs in 6!
