I read the posts before viewing the video.
It's not as bad as some of you described it. Yeah, they look like drunk losers, but what would you guys expect?
How many professional sports team don't have drunk losers?

I hate when we get excuse because they were drunk...
Its like beating your wife and your excuses is that you were drunk...

I feel more and more that we have bad fans.
I dont think that we have the best fans
we have one of the croudest...and maybe the most classless....

Like a rangers poster (dont remember who and where he said it)
the base of fans arent father with his son going to the game,

its some mid 20-30 years old guys getting drunk and screaming....

Stalk? It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of your favourite players drive by after he and his brother played amazing games just minutes before, sealing a playoff round victory. If I'm there, I try to stay with the car as much as I can until it drives away!

We all love the Habs here, but to go on the record saying that you wouldn't care if one of our budding (super)stars is virtually parked right next to you -- that, my friend, is pathetic.

You do understand that you're pissing the guy off by walking around his car and yelling at him right? It's frikkin annoying! A good fan would understand that the guy is just trying to get home and leave him alone.

Edit: Forget being a good fan, how about just being mature and respectful, and not turning into an annoying 8 year old girl when you see a hockey player?

Wow. Can you imagine what a nightmare that must be for a player, or any celebrity for that matter. People should put themselves into his position. How would you feel if some drunken mob was running around you and tapping your (expensive) car like that. No wonder we are not getting many free agents...

I'm living in a city that has been finnish league champions 4 times past five years, and you can see some their players in person almost every week ... all I do is just nod and/or smile, and go about my business.

I am sorry, but these people are idiots. They surrounded him, were staring, taking pictures – it was like he was some kind of circus freak. Give me a break! It would be cool to wave and say hello, but keep walking! Give the guy a break – he didn’t look impressed. Another classy move by Habs fans.

My thoughts exactly! I would have said "GOOD GAME SERGEI!" and went on my way.

I have no doubt that a lot of you guys condemning all this nonsense would be swept up enough to join them in following his car down the street.

They're being idiots, but who cares? Some of you are fussy babies. The guy just had the biggest game of his life and his night is ruined by 10 minutes of inconvenience?

I'll bet this kind of thing happens all the time in South America, and everyone laughs it off.

People see the players all over town all the time. There's a difference between a polite smile and nod and manhandling them or their expensive cars.

I agree that some of those fans took it a little too far. I even made a post about it earlier.

But reading this thread you'd think they were jumping up and down on his car while smacking their butt-cheeks up against his windshield. It wasn't that bad and im sure Sergei laughed it off.
