I think habs hold a record for most last names starting with "KO".
The list goes :
Kostopolous , Kovalev , Kostitsyn , Kostitsyn , Komisarek , Koivu.

Sometimes, you can just sense something special is happening with this team.

And tonight seems to just continue that feeling.

- They totally pulled that win out of the fire. Nothing good was going on, then Richards goes for a stupid check, but we blow the first half of the PP. It looked bleak. Carter breaks his stick (ghosts anyone?), Koivu wins the draw and Kovy with a bouncing puck goes glove side on Biron to tie it. I hate to use words like ''destiny'' and ''magic'' and ''meant to be'' in round 2...but this is not some ordinary playoff run...

- Another SOLID night of work from Begin-Smolinski-Kostopoulos and they get rewarded with the winner.

- How demoralizing is that for Philly? 2-0 and 3-2 leads blown. Can they recover?

- He had another mediocre (at best) game, but Markov made the key play on the OT winner.

- The Kosty bros looked good for a 2nd straight game.

- Komisarek, use your brain man. Two bad penalties.

- Not sure what Carbo does with his top 2 lines next game. Higgins-Koivu-Kovalev never seemed to get it going tonight. The K brothers together just works.

- How many more weird goals can you get in one game?

- Please bench Dandenault. He just brings that line down because he doesn't do much of anything. Streit-Lapierre-Ryder or Latendresse-Lapierre-Streit PLEASE. At least those combinations have 2 guys who can create offence.

- Price wasn't at his best tonight, that 3rd goal could have been a killer.

- All in all, this wasn't good enough. We need to be MUCH better. I expect this will actually look like a playoff game Saturday.

- There was much more room in the defensive zone than against Boston. That's good for us.

- Higgins just said on the radio ''it was a calm feeling on the bench, we knew we were going to tie it.'' This team is confident right now!

The Smoke line is clearly number 3 with how brutal the other one is.

---

If the Habs stole this game, the Flyers didn't look that much better. If we play better on Saturday we will win.

Clutch win tonight.. Carbo with his coaching staff will have to go on the drawing boards for key adjustments for game 2. Flyers played extremely well during the 3rd period but like in Washington, they had their miscues on defense...

the smoke line is the checking line, which is a 3rd line. why everybody thinks that line is our 4th line is beyond me.

GO HABS GO!

The Habs will not dominate the flyers. They were almost outshot in their own barn, playing into phillys game far to much. They didnt deserve this game and philly will respond. You could only wish to play the bruins again.

Good game, shame about the way it ended but i guess it made it exciting for the neutral, which is what Bettmans all about. Epic shot by Kovalev to tie it

I'm still fuming about that equaliser, no way was that under the bar

The PP is the weakest element this post season...strange for this team

Montreal are getting:
52.25% (255-488)of the shots in their games
51.82% of faceoffs(256/494)
54.40% of hits(278/511)
87.50% in PK(28/32)
11.43% on PP (4/35)

Personally I would rather play Philly than Boston again. Boston makes you work for every inch, Philly doesn't. I didn't really see much physical play from Philly at all, besides a few hits from Downie.
