You go anywhere near the B's board after a Hab win (even in a pre-season game) you're just asking for trouble.
Let me guess. They think Kovalev dived for that penalty.

In my book, we don't deserve to win when you combine those two things, especially when our 4th line was on the ice when we scored two goals. Keep in mind the 3 posts you hit in the 1st period.
Good to see an objective fan. I tought the game was pretty damn even. A few lucky bounces here and there and either team could of won the game. The key factor IMO was that Philly was trying just to kill the game. Attribute this to fatigue or stupid coaching, but the Flyers must of iced the puck 10 times in the third. Which is brutal considering how bad they're faceoff percentages were tonight.

Thanks for your insight Kim Johnsson, you are by far the classiest poster on the Flyers board

Refs screwed us in the last two or three games. One goal in game 6 was offside, the other caused by an offside faceoff positioning. Game 7 we couldn't buy a call. 2004 is ancient history and so are the Bruins.

espn.com should have the box scores for each game.

4th line needs Ryder and Latendresse in - Dandy and Streit out.

Breezer Out = O'Byrne in.

Kostopolous = John Druce!!!!

Great synopsis of the game. I keep hearing that this is another wake-up call for the Habs, that we stole one. I completely disagree. Habs played one of their best games defensively. Flyers got very few good scoring chances, two goals were fluky.

This is the playoffs, and the second round at that. There is no free pass out there. The expectation that the Habs will come out and dominate games is ridiculous..

Who cares about what Boston fans think about us at this point...let them continue to daydream they can somehow get Hossa despite having very limited cap space.

Both teams looked tired to me. Montreal's defense looks injured as well, especially Markov and Hammer. They got the job done though. Weird goals resulted from the fatigue. Dumb penalty by Richards at the end and voila.

I've yet to see Montreal put a full game together in these playoffs.

They're definitely much more classier than the Senator fans.Reading their Out of town thread is like watching a trainweck.

******* the Bruin's fans on HFboards. They whine more than Savard dives. For fans of rough and tough hockey, they sure act like *******. Just ignore them.

Brisebois needs not play again.
The 1st and 2nd goal were completely his fault.

Privately, a lot of us Flyers fans were expecting a spanking tonight (which, in some ways would have been more tolerable) since the Flyers were spent. However, it looks like it will be a long series since the Flyers were skating with and even outskating the Habs during the 3rd period.

Amen. I got mostly respect all game over there except for a couple of over-zealous rookie posters. Should be a fun series.

I know I was uneasy about it. I thought we had it locked until the penalty, then it was hard to watch. Id expect to see Richards with one hell of a game on Saturday. This ones going 7!
