No he's played too many NHL games. Also he won't play in Hamilton again. If there's a lockout, I've heard that anyone that played over 50 games in the NHL will not be allowed to play. Don't know if that will hold water or not, but I don't think Komo can play down in Hamilton.

If the lock-out last longer than we all hope, where do you think Komo would play then? The kid have to play for progress...

He can go to a Euro team I guess. I don't know if they will keep players with 50 NHL games out of the AHL or not, but it's be reported several times and I even heard that the Sabres kept Roy out of some of the final games of the season so he could play in the AHL next year. Guess we'll see when it happens.

no, i want to ask if Komi was never recalled by big club because CJ still trusted in Traverse, ... Will Komi be our 1st prospect right now ?

No, he would have been overtaken by Kastsitsyn, imo who's upside is still unknown. It doesn't really matter though, cause both should be a major part of this teams future sucess.

Well for now, Kastsitsyn is just so unknown. I've only seen 2 games, but I was very impressed with his offensive abilities in those games. THen everything I've read on him from others like Gauthier and Woodlief (who I always take his comments with a grain of salt). Plus the numbers he's put up in international tournaments is very impressive. Kastsitsyn could be that 40 goal scorer we need in 5 or so years from now. Then again he could turn out to be a bust, but I'd be shocked. You don't see many players with that much skill (although it's one sided skill) not make the NHL. But hopefully he's signed this summer so we can see what he can do.
