You're basicaly comparing a guy who's just starting out with a guy who has something like 20 years experience.....The incompetence of one is excusable and understandable. The other's isnt.

That's because he's as determined off the ice as he is on the ice. It started when he created the McDonald's caravan during the lockout. And he's kept working hard ever since.

Joel Bouchard's boner for Crosby is worst than McGuire's.
Yvon Pedneault doesn't even analyze. He just says what happens. Sometimes he uses his magic blue marker to draw circles around players so you know where they are. That's about the extent of it.
As someone mentioned earlier,Pedneault doesn't even analyze.He's basically stating the obvious and doesn't provide sufficient insight.It's a vast contrast actually between a guy of Pedneault's calibre and top notch hockey analysts/color commentators like Dube,Craig Simpson or even McGuire.It's not even close.
He doesn't properly evaluate,breakdown like those three.I have my fair share of pet peeves with him,but it's off -topic.
He should be moved as an insider on RDS,ala Bob McKenzie on TSN.He's well connected across the league and has very good(but not impeccable)journalism integrity.

I can's stand Yvon Pedneault.On every occasion he *dramatize* every insignifiant play.For exemple if Markhov make a mistake which's easily forgivable (Like missing a pass) . He start with the stupid violon .

If you noticed during the entire series against Boston.They always talk about the *bad* for Montreal and the *good* for the opposite team.It's frigging aggravating.It's almost like they wanted to sell the Bruins to us has a product.Plus , all their stupid discussion during play = gay.

Sometimes I watch VERSUS. They have some bad color commentators, especiallyBilly Jaffe. They also have Ed Olczyk, who comes across like a stale baguette.
