I like the fact that we have Kostopo under contract for another year. This guy definately is worth his dollar value and then some.

Isn't he tied with Kovalev and A Kost for the goals lead among the Habs? And that comes on top of the pounding he gave the Bruins Dmen. He's been a better playoff performer than most Habs, not to mention his outplaying Lucic, for example.

Some people were still bashing him near the end of the season.

Kosto is solid pick-up by Bob.

I confess that I used to call him Kostocrapoulos, my Greek friends would get all pissed off

After a few clutch goals on the PK he was gaining in respect. Now that I see him in the playoffs I am humbled and ashamed to have ever called him that. The man has heart, when the pressure is on we see the true warriors, TK is one of em.

I just want to add something funny. The first thing that really impressed me about Tom, is the fact that he actually has quite the soft hands for such a role player. I kind of knew what kind of player he was when I heard we signed him, but honestly, I was really impressed to see he has some skills! No wonder Smolinsky and him make such a good duo (whit Begin just banging away at it). Smoke can pass the puck very well, and Kosto really has a nose for the net when he's near the crease.

In Junior the story was that the scouts would come to see other players and leave talking about Kostopolous. They called him Nonstopolous because no matter what shift he played he always hustled. That has always been the biggest part of his game. He was always a fan favourite

Montreal's 5 th best K has so much heart that local cops plan to interrogate him concerning the theft of Brother Andre's heart in a jar.

Never been a Kostopoulos doubter.

Just very glad that *some* hab fans are FINALLY getting to see that in the playoffs, you need TK type guys.

The pretty passing plays and highlight reel goals are needed over a long regular season and spade work by the pluggers at that time goes unnoticed but come playoff time the hard workers step to forefront and what makes playoff hockey amazing is these blue collar type players often make the most memorable plays.

I've liked the way Kostopoulis played during the regular season. Solid grinder. So far, in these playoffs he reminds me of Mike McPhee who played a similar physical game and had a knack for scoring big clutch goals in the playoffs.

I liked Kosto each and every time he'd drop his glove and manage to lose a fight just to protect a teamate. Tells you a lot about the guy: he puts the team 1ST!

I think he became the 'glue' that helped this team stick together this year.
