Ooooooh baby. I'm stoked for this one. Will be watching this at a buddie's house, he is having a kegger for the day/night. Unfortunately, I'll be the only Habs fan there, but whatever. A 2-0 series lead would be absoutely money going to Philly, where hopefully we could get a split. GO Habs GO.

Okay so I watched the Pittsburgh-NYR game and I have come to the conclusion that unless both Philly and Montreal step it up big time, the winner of this series with be absolutely flattened by the winner of that series.
Here's hoping the Habs step it the **** up.

- feel like Price is going to have a very solid night, as he always does after an average game.

- hope the croud will be more of a factor.

- Plekanec looked so much better in the first game against Philly than vs Boston, and with the way the Kosties are playing, this line could be a great factor for us...

- Hope either Latendresse or Ryder will be inserted to replace Dandy... if it's the case, I hope Koivu's double shifted a few times as I think Lappy's being a liability so far (except for the faceoffs).. Koivu's had great chemistry with all of 73, 84 and 32.

GO HABS!!!

Already excited for the game. Pretty confident that Price will bounce back .

I hope for:
- O'Byrne to replace Brisebois and he gives big bodychecks to Hartnell and Upshall.
- Latendresse or Ryder to replace Dandenault in order to have 4 scoring lines... (yeah, the Kostopoulos-Begin-Smolinski can now be considered as a scoring line)
- Markov getting some momentum with the good game he played during game 1.
- The defensive duo who covers the Richards (Flyers' heart and soul) line has to limit the scoring chances created by that line.
- Continue the great face-off work.
- Good transition game, first good pass and speed gathering in the neutral zone.
- Get or take back the momentum during the game with the PP.

Yup i agree for a strong defensive team rangers really blew that one. Expected a better game from lundy but i guess the defensive left him high and dry. Fleury just really isnt that good anyway. Avery should just keep reminding him of the juniors. Both offensives are explosive not sure who id want to face if the habs eliminate the flyers

Victory tonight.

We'll discover new lines

The K.O. Line. Double Dragon finds their center and Higgins gets to pick up Kovalev's garbage in front of the net. And Dandenault takes a seat.

Kostitsyn - Koivu - Kostitsyn
Kovalev - Plekanec - Higgins
Begin - Smolinski - Kostopoulos
Streit - Lapierre - Latendresse

I smell pwnage you guys.

I smell pwnage. Don't know why. I smell pwnage. I just went to WacDo to pick up some clown crap to eat but that's not what it smells. The iron factory close to my home just released a cloud of whatever acid and it smells like crap, but there's a stronger odor.

PWNAGE.

Tonight we crush them. I have a great feeling.

Habs in 4!

don't forget they are also well rested, while neither of us are. We both had grueling tasks in the first rd while they both went through with ease.

I saw that too, and it was a pretty weird game, like our Game 1 was, with the strange goals and the deflections and reviews.
I think it's safe to say that all four teams were shaky and sucked in the series openers, but it just seemed to me that their game sucked faster, with better passes and more focused, completed plays than ours.

That definitely had something to do with it. I hope that's all it was.

I saw the complete opposite. Horrible breakouts, miscommunications, broken plays, lucky goals(there were like 6 redirections(3 I believe being own goals)), questionable goaltending, horrible coverage(especially the Rangers), bad line changes and there were even horrible dump-ins. It was one of the worst executed hockey games I have ever witnessed.

I agree with you on those things, however I didn't think the goaltending was as bad as the D was. It was pretty okay in the first period but during the second period, it went ape all over the place, but again, a large part of it was the messy D. As for the horrible dump-ins, I saw some pretty bad dump-ins in a couple of games in the Montreal-Boston series so I guess I didn't notice by comparison. As for the plays... I think the Pens did okay overall.

Great! Nothing like watching a playoff game "live" in Europe... I was in Portugal during the 2006 summer and was able to follow the Edmonton Oilers during the playoffs.
