The Canucks looks to trade the Sedins (they are becoming UFA and each will command around 5 MIL). Will you guys trade the Kosty for the Sedins?

The Sedins has more chemistry IMO but the Kostitsyns has a lot more individual skills, kind of skills that can change a game alone. Which I find the Sedins are lacking when they play without each other.

May I ask for the reasons? The Sedins have more points than the Kosti (roughly 80 points each).

This is also the Kost brothers first full-season in the NHL, it took like 4 years for the Sedins to achieve success.

For me, the Kostis is more physical than the Sedins. The Sedins did not do well in the playoff because they are not comfortable with being hits often. The Kostis can hit back and then score goals. The Kostis, to me, are much better playoff performers. I hope that it will not get expensive to sign the Kostis in the future.

Article is a good read, saw it this morning. I'd have liked to see a quote from Pleks. He said the other day he doesn't even feel necessary on the line, I hope he's kidding. Or is there another Kosty out there that plays Centre ...

Pleks is a bit of a mystery when it comes to his place on his team. Not in terms of his play on the ice (obviously he's crucial) but how he is with everyone off the ice.

On the CJAD pre-game tonight, they were talking to Carbo. They mentioned Pleks was joking about having 'Kostitsyn' put on the back of his jersey. Carbo said that what he really likes about Andrei's game right now is that he is shooting a lot. He said that if Pleks wants the puck, he should go to the front of the net as that's where it'll be going. I'd prefer it if the puck ends up in the back of the net, but when the doesn't happen, the front will also do.

Yes it is Andrei's first fill season, but not Sergei. Let Sergei start from beginning until end next season where he will hopefully have a break out year.

I will post more later,

but other then the reasons people have already mentioned;

The Kost's have already had more playoff success this season then the Sedins have had in their entire careers

Never in a thousand years! its actually quite easy to see the Kosty's are more tallented, and i wouldnt be so quick to say that they dont have more chemistry than the sedins.

Jury is out on the chemistry question since they've only played a half dozen games on the same line (thanks Carbo, even though most people here have been screaming for that line all year).

The Sedins are twins. It's not a fair comparison. They've got some twilight zone psychic connection shiznit going on. The Kostitsyns will be just fine, whether playing on separate lines or together.

I saw a guy in the Bell Centre with a Habs jersey with the number 746 the name plate said Kostitsyns and his left arm had 74 and right had 46. It was a beautiful jersey.

For me, the best part of this article was hearing that Joel Bouchard scolded Sergei, and that Sergei took the advice. That shows a lot about Joel and about Sergei. Good on both of them.

For a skinny rookie, Sergei is doing pretty damn good. Add some muscle to that frame and we will have a gamer. Vision, passing, and grit. Just add muscle, stir, and presto!

As for Andrei, I have great hopes for this guy. He shows flashes of real brilliance, and he has added some sandpaper to his game this season. With ever good play, I can see him growing more confident. I really hope he becomes and remains what his flashes of dominance exposes him to be.

Rumor had it that Feaster wanted one of them or Higgins + picks for Hossa.

I'm glad they are on our side, and they show they have the skill and talent to lead.
