all this is just a mind game the Flyers right now.
trying to get into the heads of Koivu and Kovalev.
Just let the habs play thier game, hard work , speed and talent should win the day.
Keep focus on winning the game.

I do feel the Flyers will dare to push the rules even more on their own rink. The refs should watch carefully against this, but you never know what the refs will do. It's comes down to the Habs to not fall into the Flyer trap and go nuts over the Flyers dirty play.

LOL true..

This is the guy who made Tomas Plekanec look like a world class speed skater. I mean, Pleks ain't slow, but he's not a burner either.

Hatcher is too slow to target Saku or Alex.

If we can get the puck out of our zone and our defense doesnt break down to the 4th line AGAIN. This game is ours.

I think you're wrong Plekanec is one very fast skater, great acceleration. A burner, he is.

I'm surprised at how big this issue became. Almost like both sides are looking for excuses to get fired up or the media is giving them one. Either way, no one got injured, it wasn't a violent shot, it should just be dropped.

Who exactly is a "burner" then? He is the fastest guy on our team, a team known for speed.

Nice of Hatcher to focus all the attention on himself by issuing threats. Now he pretty much has to play nice or the league has to punish him.

As for punishing Koivu and Kovalev, they're only thinking this up now?

Most of the time this is all talk, but I know I'll be watching closer when Hatcher is on the ice.

Those kind of comments were the kind of thing thatthe league was supposed to do away with after the whole Bertuzzi-Moore incident.

The league should probably fine him immediately, and if anything happens to Koivu or Kovy tonight Hatcher, Stevens and the organization can be looking at legal action ad serious fines from the league.

If they want to relaliate thats up to them, but its complete stupidity to announce ahead of time that you're gonna do something.

Talk is cheap, but they already went after Kovy in game 1 and it cost them the game.

The great thing about keeping an eye on Hatcher is you can look away for a few seconds, and when you come back, he's pretty much exactly where you left him.

Thats the key, Plekanec is not a fast skater in terms of top speed, but he can get to his top speed in 2-3 strides. Thats why he can burn past the D so fast.

Ah lets cut Hatcher some slack. After all he does still have two brain cells that are still functioning.

Put the caveman back in his cave. Give him a few thousand years to develop his brain.

Hatcher reminds me of a hockey player...who forgot to put on his skates to play the game.

they will turn to their dirty game... that's what they did all year in close games.... I don't expect anything different now from a bunch of proven hypocrites...

the coward is not the one who sucker punches someone... its the one who taunts and then turns his back... kosto should get a 1 game ban, but it seems the nhl likes it when things escalade....

who knows what's going to happen tonight.

Would I be surprised? No. I'm surprised the Flyers haven't done it already. Just so long as K and K are alert and the Flyers are penalized, that's fine with me. It hope it doesn't escalate further. The Flyers should realize they have some soft, cheesy targets, such as Brie.

If they'd let the players fight in the playoffs...it would avoid so many issues...

What I found funny was when John Stephens said Montreal was running the goalie...

You think Mike Richards was "going after Kovy" with under two minutes left in a close road playoff game?
