Out-coached and out-worked. Similar to the Boston series.

Markov, Hamrlik, and Komisarek are all beaten down especially the latter two who carried the bulk of the physical load all year.

The team is simply not strong enough nor playoff style. Plekanec and Andrei Kostitsyn have been nothing short of a disaster. The playoffs aren't soft and they still haven't adapted to it.

Streit is useless. Get an actual forward playing forward who is willing to grind it out.

Kovalev plays when he wants. Great regular season followed by a disappointing playoffs. Doesn't surprise me though.

Price is Price. He is a 20 year old in his first playoffs. He is going to be good and bad. Its the age.

Thank god Koivu is even playing. Trying to carry this team and was essentially the deciding factor in round one.

Reasons Montreal aren't scoring?

No one on this team is willing to go to the net and to sacrifice the body to screen Biron who is seeing everything and looking like a star out there!

Maybe if players like Latendresse who are inserted in the line up and are suppose to be Power Forwards would play that game it would make things happen? Higgins are you afraid of getting hit too...I sure know Andrei Kostystyn is!

Carbo still doesn't get it. Lappy is too stupid to play offense, Streit is too small and making mistake after mistake and he dismantles his best line in the playoffs as well to make more scoring? Begin, Lapierre and Streit are any better than Dandy there???

Carbo wake the F- UP already, put in Ryder to get some shots at least and he isn't as easily knocked off the puck as your little Streit and other Euro boys...win with what got you there, offense, speed and some hard work...where is it now???

Carbo has too much hate for offensive players like Ryder to add him to the line up, talk about a selfish play by a person not being for the 23 on the ice. Swallow pride bud and do it for your team, not yourself.

Wow.....Price got Pounded in this one...

If only he'd been just okay, the game would still be 0-0 ....

Time to throw in Halak to see if it gives the Habs some luck...

P.S: Higgins needs new hands, because the guy can't score to save his life..

Is this game being played in mud? There has to be something wrong with the ice, both teams are moving just agonizingly slowly.

If I was Ryder after all of this I would tell him my back was sore and couldn't play.

Is it just me or Price kinda always blame his D-men with his hands gesture after every goal and when he gives the puck away and no D is there to pick it up?

well...on the bright side, the Flyers arent outplaying the habs, they're outscoring them (sadly) but they're not dominating.

With that said, they most definitely NEED to be better. the whole team.

We're just getting manhandled out there. I cant believe how lucky the Flyers have been and in a way, we're lucky it's not headed towards a 3-0 lead right now....(series).

the habs can still win this game, if they JUST GO TO THE ****ING FRONT OF THE ****ING PIECE OF **** NET!!!

I cant believe how much some of these guys are being *******. Unreal.

Agree. If they traded Huet to make room for Price and die or live by that decision, why can't it be the same for the rest of the lineup.

You live or die with Ryder on the first, the Pleks line, and SKost on the 3rd line.

You people here make me laugh when you blame Price and ask for a goalie change...I don't remembe the last time a team won when their players never scored and never played well in their own zone???

Here's my last game story....probably making crap up but i'm so pissed...

Game Story After 2 Periods:

2nd Period Starts
Bouillon with a stupid penalty...you know they will call all montreal penalties now that they feel they
have reached their penalty quotia against Philly
Montreal looks better than Philly on that PK...actually better chances on PK than the 2 man PP
Bad giveaway by Price almost results in a goal...honestly he should stay in net sometime
Boring game so far...but if thats what it takes....
Philly almost scores
O'Byrne was that another post? Philly goal....of course...
Holding Plekanec...no call
Philly holding a montreal player...no call
Higgins shot...another easy save
Hit from behind...no call
Montreal PP
Hit fron behind on the PP...no call
Short Handed goal...great
No roughing penalty against philly???????????
Where's the too many men on the ice call against philly????
Another no roughing call on Philly

Last one i write for tonight...i'll be too pissed off after the game unless they can make a comeback...the way
the game is going thats too long a shot

The game isn't even over yet, not to mention the series just started!
Can't believe all the bridge jumping going on.
I'd be willing to put Halak in for the third but Price should of course start the fourth game.
