GAME TAKES: Flyers 3, Habs 2: cut-and-paste of game two.

Discuss.

Me? Cut-and-paste of game two, only more so.

That's about all I have to say on the subject. Zero puck luck for Montreal + Flyers getting 3 goals on 14 shots = 2-1 series lead.

The Habs had the most scoring chances, territorial advantage, shots on goal, practically everything.

Price wasn't even all that bad. Just mediocre. Screen shot, tip shot, and shot off a turnover. Those were the goals.

The Habs are in trouble, but still look like they can come back if they can finally get key goals and saves.

Needless to say, game 4 will be pivotal, but game 4 is always just about the most important game in any series.

It's always fun to give up 14 shots and lose.

Flyers fans have probably become my 3rd most hated on HF, behind Ottawa and Boston.

We'll be fine, I'm not worried at all. Flyers can't possibly win this series on pure luck, and that's the only way they could win this series because Montreal > Flyers based on talent, we just need to keep pressing and I believe we will now win the rest of the games.. easily I might add.

This game showed 2 things:

1- Price feels the pressure

2-The Flyers are in trouble if the Refs call the game like it should be

Boys are playing so well. If we had some goaltending, this would be another win. Thats the playoffs though.. it all comes down to goaltending and we don't have it right now.

I hope Halak gets the next start, he deserves it.

I dont know how the flyers can feel good about a 14 shot performance.......I say Halak starts next game and we win big time the bounces have to start going our way sooner or later!

How the ****? This is the freakin Flyers not the Redwings!!!
This is a piece of **** goon team and they lose two in a row all based on dumb luck for the Flyers.
I'll be OK in a half hour.

We are clearly the better team out there. As soon as the team realizes that, Philly is in deep deep trouble.

Enough 3rd period heroics. Let's get some 1st and 2nd period heroics.

We need to play with desperation and a deep desire to win right from the drop of the puck.

We will win this series.

Game 4 is a must win....that would make a best of 3 with 2 home games

6 periods of pure luck from the Flyers...Statistically it can't stay like this

We got all the chances we needed by the refs, we just decided to show up during the last period. Too many harmless shots in the first and second. Despite losing, I liked the way we came out in the 3rd. I'm confident we'll bounce back in game 4.

All you typical banwagoners are calling for Price already and if it weren't for a bonehead play by Hatcher we wouldn't have scored 1 goal...wake up people, we are simply not playing Hab hockey and Carbo is to blame.
