We will win this series.
I agree, we also need solid goaltending.

Koivu was absolutely brilliant in the third period. If only he can organize the team to come out stronger at the start of the game. We have started so poorly in each game, against a team that we should be beating.

Kovalev has been awful IMO. PJ Stock's example during the second intermission of Kovalev coasting was accurate. He didn't seem to have the urgency that this team needed. Even after the Canadiens made it close, I thought Kovalev would have stepped up his game, but he was so passive that it was tough to watch.

if the habs would have played the whole game like the ten last minutes .. we would have win 8-0 .. total lack of effort ..

3-4 post, 2 open net missed, 3 questionnable goals by philly ..

we will lose game 4 .. win 5 and lose 6 to lose the whole series 4-2 .. hopefully i'm wrong

next game .. lapierre out ryder in .. mix up the lines .. put price in the net and TELL YOUR TOUGH GUYS TO HIT

This series is starting to remind me of the Montreal-Carolina series of '02

If the Refs called the game like in the Rule book th Flyers would have lost in 4 or 5 games VS Washington, we'd be facing the Rangers and not having this frustration in us

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTEEEEE STREIT

ON the PP all he does is slap the puck as soon as he can. dude move the frickin puck. This is not only happening in this series but in the BOSTON one too. He is too impatient and maybe panicking.

I don't get it. Why do we pay hammer 5.5. Just to play defense. He was for many years on the first pair of Ds on the PP and got 40 + pts. HE cančt play the point suddenly or what

Don't let the 2 PP goals fool you, this is still the ugliest PP I've ever seen.

I can honestly say I haven't been this frustrated in a long time. With the Bruins series I didn't feel like we played our best hockey so when we lost I gave the Bruins credit but this is just ridiculous. We've outplayed them the past 2 games and Biron & his crossbars have been the huge difference in this series. I'm confident still though.

This is simply a goaltending problem. Nothing more. You are not suppose to win hockey games with 14 shots on goal. Price has to give us a chance to win, I don't know what's wrong with him lately. Halak should get the start in game 3 but I don't know how that will affect Carey's confidence.

Thought we were lucky to be in it at all. The 5-minute penalty is questionnable, if not harsh.

Latendresse while not spectacular played well enough to stay in.

I'd like to see if we can't try to find a spot for Ryder, his style might actually be effective in this series.

Kovalev didn't do it tonight. Missing the net from the slot is as unacceptable as Price's weak play at this stage.

I stick with Price for next game, but this is last chance against the Flyers, if he doesn't take it that is it.

His body language on the last penalty kill was atrocious. I know we were killing a penalty, and he doesn't have to forecheck nearly as deep as usual, but it looked like he was having a stroll on the beach for crying out loud.

Compare that to Mike Richard's efforts on the PK...

Night and day, my friends, night and day.
