Anyone making the trip down to Philly for game 4?

From CKAC.

- A mother and her kids wearing Habs shirts were roughed up.
- A guy got elbowed in the eye and is at the hospital.
- Many fans got their shirts ripped.
- No help from staff, security.

What I'm trying to say is, those people are animals, you are human, don't put yourself at risk, and watch from home.

Right, but you're much better off being gracious than being an *******. My friend says there was nastiness towards Habs fans tonight, but most of was a direct result of obnoxiousness on their part. You're in a hostile environment and you know it, act accordingly or don't go.

Because of course, abusing women and children is manly and proof of toughness.

You're all on equal ground with your million dollar baby Brière, you're all man's shame, all of you woman and child abusers.

I find it unfortunate that as fans we have to not say a word in order to avoid an ass kicking. It's a shame because it takes away from the fun and ruins the experience. I mean the reason why so many leafs and habs fans consider our rivalry to be so good is the interaction between ans which apparently the flyers fans can't handle without feeling the need to get violent.

It's not most Flyers fans, just a small population. All fanbases have their shortcomings. We do less drunken rioting and more abuse of opposing fans. I don't think there's any real stand you can take or means of changing that, so just try your best to make it out happy and healthy.

Of course it's a tiny population I'm just saying it sucks. At the same time you have to understand not everyone is obnoxious idiots. yet both groups ruin it for everyone.

Blue is a nice contrast to orange.

Believe.

It's all broken window dressing.

Habs need to get it done.

They have the speed, talent, and ability.

Philly is dead meat next game.

Go Go

What a bunch of pansy assed cowards those fans are. Get all sooky if you cheer on the habs in their building. Its a freaking game! I bet those same people who beat on habs fans in their building for cheering, would be the first to cheer on the flyers at the bell centre. They wouldn't be touched either, thats the way it should be.

Goshhh, I hate the Flyers !!

They ranked number 1 in my hate team list... Even though, my favorite prospect (Claude Giroux) is in their clan

People really need to do some research before they go to other countries. Philadelpha is probably the toughest city in the US. Those are some mean people if you aren't one of them, and they all look like linebackers. Ask anyone who has moved away from there (I have many friends from Philly). It's not civilized enough to go there with an out of town jersey, and I say that with all due respect.
