Maybe it is good that all those lucky goals have gone to the Flyers so far otherwise we would never hear the end of it from fans saying the league is fixing everything for the Habs... Habs have not played like they did during the regular season but for Flyer fans to think they are dominating this series...well take off those orange colored glasses. You lead in goaltending, gooning and most importantly the scoreboard but not much else. You have had the puck luck and the Habs stink on the PP which is why the series is where it is at

It's the playoffs, stuff like this happens. People need to calm down. John Stevens crying about Kostopoulos' face wash was ridiculous.

Look, when you have no real hockey talent, you pay thugs to level the field Down to your talentless level.

That has historically always been the Flyers way of playing hockey.

hockey is all about being tough and gritty and intimidating the other team.

I have no problem with the physical stuff, or the goading or the whining about the calls and non-calls, that's playoff hockey. I do however have a major problem with someone on the bench involving themselves in the play on the ice. It's blatantly cheating and he should have been called for unsportsman like. If he were a real man, and he's not, he'd do it while on the ice, I'm sure Kosto would love to dance.
I'd like to see us stop whining about calls as well. It's the game and the refs have been pretty fair so far.
On another note. As for them running and hitting our goalies... anyone else remember the beating Big bird laid on the unknown schmuck who ran Patrick in the first round in 86'. Larry sent a message right there that any of that s h i t would be punished. To date no one has stepped up...... Where are you number 8????

The Flyers are at their best when they are a playing dirty gritty game. This stuff gets called both way. You guys would have been shut out if it weren't for hatcher and his dumb penalty. I thought it should have been called a roughing, but either way it was dumb.

I don't think they are dominating the series but you don't need to dominate a series to win it. You need to win a game at a time and do whatever it takes in that game to win. The Flyers have a lot of very gritty underrated players, especially by the Habs fans. Yes, in a skills competition Mtl wins but this is hockey and it's only going to get dirtier and more intense so you have to get used to it and join in or give up and go home.

Yeah but when you have the most suspensions in the league in the regular season and 5 minute majors in the playoffs. You are playing hockey and hence you have broke the rules on a regular basis. Hence penalties and suspensions all for your so called Gritty hockey club.

Boston played that style to a tee, the Flyers on the other side have not. The Bruins were physical and intimidating.

Congrats to the Bruins for playing classy and not thug like. Because they played your so called gritty game without making a joke of the NHL.

The Flyers have been thugs all season.

A face wash? Seriously?

That would be like me telling you Hatcher delicately tapped Bouillon with his stick.

As much as I dislike the Bruins style ..they play by the rules and play physical
You can't say that about the Flyers...they are not really tough ...more just stick work and hitting from behind. Would love to see Lucic talk to Hatcher, Hatcher would probably run to the dressing room to change his shorts.

Well it didnt happen against Boston and personnally Boston is a really better team.

Looked more like Umberger tripped over his laces and went down like he was shot, only to miraculously return moments later.

No really, Lasse Kukkonen? Frankenberry? I mean, he takes the body, but god, I don't even think he's in the top 12 in terms of chippiness on the Flyers. I'd put him a little behind Briere.

The Jones hit on Bergeron was clean, he turned at the last minute. And your team scored NO goals at even strength tonight. If anything, you should WANT the Flyers to goon it up. Or perhaps it's fear setting in because your precious #1 Habs aren't coasting their way through the East? If either team plays at their current level against the Pens, they're out in 4 or 5. The Habs have played like crap for most of the series and the Flyers haven't been that much better. You may want to consider that the Flyers are lot better than you had imagined.
