Steve Mason potentiel ?

I'm looking for some information about the potentiel of Mason!

I know Leclaire is in front of him but can he be a no1 goaltender in the NHL if we just look at his talent and developpement so far.

Yes, he could potentially become a #1 goaltender in the NHL... Maybe I've just been burned too badly by Picard and Brule, but I'm not gonna put anything on his shoulders until he's ready. A year or two in Syracuse, and then we'll see.

I would say that he is an outstanding prospect, with excellent potential since he has been pretty much tagged "untouchable" right now. Will be in the Cuse next year.

I read an article recently (sorry cannot seem to re-find the link) but it was when Mason was first hurt...the writer said his talent (Mason's) was on par with Montreal rookie Casey Price. Obviously, just one hockey writer's opinion...

The Jackets obviously want to be cautious with Mason, who some experts say is on the same level as Carey Price, 20, the rookie sensation of the Montreal Canadiens. A knee injury cost goalie Pascal Leclaire most of last season.
