1. Pavel Datsyuk
To me he is the most exciting player on the NHL

2. Ilya Kovalchuk
Should have been 1b. Very EXCITING

3. Nikolai Zherdev
Stickhandling is SICK !!! IF he's learning how to use his teammates, he's gonna be one hell of a player

4. Rick Nash
well is he afraid of something ? Could be the best POWER FORWARD ever played in the NHL at the end of his career.

5. Todd Bertuzzi
Start showing somes mental fatigues & im not talking about his incidents with Steve Moore. Is he still willing to suffer ?

6. Peter Forsberg
I would have love to see him in the '80 where he could have establish himself as the BEST PLAYER in the NHL.

7. Alexander Mogilny
Not the guy he used to be but what player !

8. Maxim Afinogenov
He did some great things this season with limited ICE TIME, GET OUT OF BUFFALO MAX !!!

9. Henrik Zetterberg
Will not be an 100 pts player but he is gonna be a FULL COMPLETE ALL AROUND PLAYER in the NHL. The kind of player every team would want !

10. Mike York
Such a strong character player ! Love that guy

1. Joe Sakic - All time favorite player, I was born in Quebec and was a big big Nord fan and I was 3 or 4 when he started playing with the Nords on a line with Guy Lafleur. Sakic is god

2. Dany Heatley - I love him since his days with Team Canada Junior, big, intense and skilled typical Canadian player. He can do it all and he is great.

3. Jason Spezza - Love him since he played with Team Canada Junior when he was 16. His best tournement for Canada, well the only one where he played really well. Another player who can do it all, but his work ethic is questionnable

4. Simon Gagné - Love him since his junior days too. He was my second favorite player to Sakic when Heatley and Spezza were not in the league yet. Great two-way player that difinitivly diserves a spot with Team Canada.

5. Jay Bouwmeester - Love him since his days with Team Canada Junior. I would loved to see him with Team Canada but sniff... He skates like the wind and is really good. I would love to see him play for my favorite team.

6. Joni Pitkanen - Another young d-man that I love since his junior days. His play at the World Juniors impressed me alot. Well, to be honnest I use to love that Team Finland from 2002 (Pitkanen, Lehtonen, Ruutu and Koivu)

7. Mike Ribeiro - He is my favorite Habs player and I love him since his days with Quebec when he was playing with Gagné and Chouinard. He has all the skills but like Spezza, his work ethic is somehow questionnable.

8. Saku Koivu - Unlike alot of fellow Habs fan I love but Ribeiro and Koivu pretty equally. This guy is a warrior, the heart and soul of the Montreal Canadiens. His play in the playoffs was so inspirational just as much as his battle against cancer. This guy is an awesome individual and I admire alot. If I was a hockey player, I would want to be like him. He his so great.

9. Mike Komisarek - He is so big and skilled. I love this guy. He is the future of Montreal's defense. I love his play and the heart he put into it. This guy has captain make-up and can do it all.

10. Mario Lemieux - This guy is a legend, plus he his from Quebec. I always considered him better than Gretzky and I always loved the guy.

11. Alex Kovalev - Love him since his Pittsburgh days. I put him #11 because I love him to much to consider him as a simple HM. Now that he is with Montreal I am really happy. I trully hope that we can resign him this summer.

HM: T. Ruutu, St-Louis, Richards, Ryder, Théodore, Kovalchuk, Nash, Zherdev, Marc-André Fleury, P-A Parenteau (he has his roots in Asbestos so... )

Like you can see, I love youngsters and Habs players

1) Mario Lemieux - favorite player and has done so much for pittsburgh.
2) Jaromir Jagr - i'm probably the only one with him on their list.
3) Markus Naslund - bad trade for the pens . you could see the talent but i think he was intimidated being so young and playing with lemieux.
4) Pavel Bure - huge fan of his since the '94 playoffs.
5) Mike Modano - i hope this was on off year and not a decline because when he's on he's so fun to watch.
6) Alexei Kovalev - was awesome with the pens and hopefully will continue his excellent play with the canadiens.
7) Ilya Kovalchuk - unlimited potential and just sick offensive instincts.
8) Marian Hossa - an all star horse that will be ottawa's cornerstone for years.
9) Mats Sundin - consistently great.
10) Todd Bertuzzi - had a bad year but i expect him to rebound. during 01-02 and 02-03 he was just awesome.

hmm, i guess i'm not a huge fan of defensemen or goalies. that's what watching the pens throughout the 90s will do to someone i guess.
