Any updates on Breezer's injury?

Bash him all you want in here.. I don't care..

Just looking to see if any french sites (that I don't check because I'm not fluent in french) have updates on his injury ..

I think we could use the offensive, even with the defensive gaffs.

On CKAC they just said he was in the plane for Philadelphie right now and he will play tomorrow...

I just repeat what they said on radio....

I know some french and I can usually understand if a person talks to me in french, because I can pick up key words in sentences.

But I haven't been in French Immersion since Grade 9 (about 6 years ago) so I lost a lot of my French speech.

Defense has played amazing the last two games. Very few turnovers, few shots and not many scoring chances.

Correction: Brisebois will be re-evaluated tomorrow after the morning skate.

Agreed. I thought the defense, 1 through 6 played a very tight game last night.

I never thought I would say this, but breezer help would be needed on the PP instead of streit who just shoots it. He is trying to be the souray but souray pass it a bit more to markov before shooting it

I thought he was benched because he blew the last game, not because he was injured.

minus the bonehead play by Komo that resulted in the 3rd goal late in 2nd period.

People keep blaming Komisarek being injured for his poor play but seriously a lot of his mistakes have been mental and he really needs to get his head out of his ass.

Nope. He was expected to play Saturday but had a leg injury. He stayed back in Montreal to be evaluated and he joined the team, apparently, today. He's going to be re-examined by team doctors before the game on Wednesday.

And he didn't play very well in Game #1.. but we still won the game, so who cares?

Our offense was more of a threat with him in the lineup than without.

I'd like to see Brisebois play tonight. He seems to be able to make things happen offensively. Besides, Price might have an easier time staying focused in the game if he faces a few more shots per period.

Gotta agree with you.

Not to be a hypocrite...I was "one of 'em" (not a huuuuge Brisebois fan in the past, but I still had respect in not booing him to death). I actually lean more towards liking him than the opposite. Brise will never be gritty or physical but Carbo knows how to squeeze out his strong points, imo. Carbo is not putting him out there for fun. He feels like the HABS have more chances with Brise at 12 min. a game instead of O'Byrne. I'm a huuuge fan of O'Byrne, but right now I'd play Brise first (O'Byrne has a regular spot next year and we still need him now for 10 minutes a game). But if we get lots of PP action then Brise can log up up to 14-15 minutes a game.

PROS: he makes things happen (creates scoring chances) with his great, precise, far outlet passes. I also like his slapshot and wrister (quite consistent). I prefer Brisebois on the PP instead of Streit, or at least put Brisebois or try him more on the #1 unit and put Streit only on the 2nd unit (Mark has made so many bad decisions on the PP, and it seems like not that much happens whenever he has the puck, injury or not...I'm also referring to the regular season). I liked Streit as a forward during the regular season...

CONS: we all know the cons (we just have to hope the PROS take over more than the CONS, as simple as that, and he's done it before ).

If Brisebois plays I'll be wishing him all the luck.

Whether it will be good or not...

I can (almost) guarantee you that Grabovski will not be in the lineup.

But, you never know...?! (1% chance)

I prefer trying:
Streit - Lapierre - Ryder

If you're gonna take chances I say go with
Brisebois IN
Ryder IN

O'Byrne has been good (in a neutral way...plays it safe which is more than ok for a rookie). He will be waaay better, more confident next year (after a whole season under his belt, imo).
