erm...that's not luck. a miss is a miss...a shot on net is a shot on net. do some inductive reasoning and you'll quickly figure out that the difference between 1mm and 5 feet ends up equating to the same thing, a miss. was 1mm closer? absolutely...do you think it's unlucky that THAT is where the shooter's shot went? he put it there, not some coin flip.
I think we've had little luck in the way as the pucks that hit the posts always seems to dodge everything and bounce out to a safe area. When the Flyers hit the post, they eventually bounced off Price's pad or glove and went in the net.
We are only down 1-2...Colorado and San Jose came back from being down 1-2 to win their series in the first round. We can't stop ****ing believing because every time we think this team is down they come out and win the game by a blowout and especially we have totally dominated those pansies in the last 2 games and at some point the lucky will turn around and the post we were hitting will go in the net and the open net misses will go in as well.
GO HABS GO!!!!!
Right on Harry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to Believe. Habs time to get on a roll and put these Flyers away.
How well did Laich and his team do against the Flyers?
Beat us in the season series.
And food for thought: ever consider the notion that you're outshooting us and pressing more offensively because you're continually behind? The Flyers would not be the first team of all time to try to go into shutdown mode with 2 goal road leads or a 3 goal home lead in the playoffs. It's not like the Flyers are throwing everything at you and failing, hell, I don't think they've even bothered sending 2 men on the forecheck at any point in the entire series-they've had no need. I don't think it's smart but, as was the case in the Caps series, we sit back A LOT once we go up 2. It's lead to a lot of blown leads, as well.
