Excuse me, based on what do you ask if I'm "whinig" again? And yes, if my team wins a game getting outshot more than 2-1 I certainly think they were lucky. And I also gave full credit to Biron for outplaying Price in the series.

Far as I can see you're just trolling. What a nice addition to boards. I think Chezz has a nice warm welcome for you somewhere.

Fair enough. Wasn't a loaded question, I just noticed you were spending more time than most.

No other team in the league plays cheap like they do. And the Flyer fans call it tough hockey. Guess when they grew up watching Clarke/Schults/Brown/Saleski all those years that is the only thing they understand. And no I am not comparing this Flyer team to those.
Well.. Last year ducks were just as dirty and just as tough. Of course they were much better on D.

I am not saying that Flyers are just as good and I am not saying that Flyers will win the cup or even beat Habs. But tough, dirty in your face playoffs hockey I always will love and if you do not like it maybe you should watch "Friends"

Flyers were penilzed for a lot of things in last game. Hatcher got 5min and Habs scored two goals. Enough already. Downie "tripped" Price and got 2min. Stop whining about dirty hockey. Habs team would benefit if they could score.

No one injured anyone, there were some cuts and bruises, there were some cheap shots, yapping, and complains on both sides. Not a big deal. Thatís why we play 7 games to create this "you hate us we hate you" atmosphere.

I hope it's going to get even tougher.

This thread failed in so many ways. That title is so misleading. I was expecting something completely different.

Considering the Flyers' history, including their recent history, did anyone expect somethig different?

You do know the difference between tough and dirty...Let me give you an example Bruins play tough hockey...Flyers play dirty..you only have to look at how many suspensions they have had to tell you how they play.

The Flyer fans are just that, Flyer fans. Does anyone seriously expect them to condemn their home team? They actually enjoy seeing the victims of dirty hits being taking off the ice. Everyone from New York to Florida to Los Angeles to Vancouver knows the Flyers are cheap shot artists. What the Habs need is a newborn Larry Robinson to beat the crap out of the Dave Schultz types. Incidentally, Schultz has seen religion and no longer condones what went on in his day.

I'm shocked that Hab fans can complain about the officiating, somehow.

We had a two man advantage for two whole minutes and a five minute PP on a ******** call. Make that call in the regular season, fine. But in the postseason, that's two minutes. Bouillon is dumb for going into Hatcher's house with his back turned.

What the F are you talking about? That was a cheap-shot no matter what way you slice it. The only dumb one on that play was Hatcher. No surprise, he's never been the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Lots of hockey to play yet. This sounds alot like last series where the B's were accusing the habs of diving but the habs fans just kept pointing to the scoreboard to say that's how you win hockey games. Philly is playing dirty but they are doing what they need to do to win. MTL better figure out what they need to do to win because time is running out. If it means cross-checking briere to the face and killing a two minute penalty (if one is even called) then so be it. If briere gets up he might think twice about going in those high traffic areas. Or bouillon could stick his knee out late on richards and potentially sit him on the sidelines for 6 months. Either way its only 2 minutes in the box in this series. I'm not condoning or supporting injuring a player but that is the type of play MTL is trying to rise above and they haven't shown they can do that. If you can't beat em.....

You say I don't watch much hockey?? Thats laughable. You as a Flyer fan of course want to defend your team. But do you defend dirty, cheap shot type hockey.

When someone defends that what can be said about them? Do they know hockey? Are they in favor of playing a game by following the rules of the game. Do they think its ok to injure the other teams players intentionally? Is it ok to cheat to win a hockey game?

It seems you know little about hockey.

I do not like any dirty player. The Habs do not have any dirty players.

One could name more than a few dirty players on the Flyers. Name one on the Habs.

Yeah...I'm a Habs fan but I would even agree that the Canadiens need to toughen up and grow a pair.

If the Flyers are beating Montreal because they are playing dirty and taking cheap shots, then we need to do the same right back. It's only 2 minutes....kill it off and go back on the attack and stop playing hockey like a bunch of little girls.

Every other team has raised the level of their game since the playoffs started....so why are the Habs content on playing the same way they played all year and taking the loss.

Time to toughen up and play some playoff hockey!!!!

You Sir are a moron for defending Hatcher on that hit!!!!! That was nothing but a flat out attempt to injure.
Hatchers house is in the penalty box....what a big dumb goon!!!!
