Bumburger went down like a scene from Night Of The Living Dead.

Thats the funniest and stupidest thing i have ever heard.

Edit: heres the funny article.

Its a conspiracy against Philly!!! boo hoo hoo
Do you honestly expect a columnist to not cater to the dumbest of the fans, let alone be impartial? That's one guy who is always up in arms because he thinks we get all our calls based on reputation and everyone else is evil but gets away with it.

None of the real fans who understand the rules of hockey are calling for a penalty there.

Next topic.
Do you know any of the people sitting behind the Flyers net at the game last night they looked like they were all clamouring for a penalty.

For those who haven't seen it. Look at his knee buckle. Clearly interference...checking a player with out the puck. Not a dive at all. Hatcher's penalty was selfish and stupid. Quit complaining about it since it gave you 2 goals.

The Hatcher hit was dirty too, but this one was deserving a 2min too. Not a fricking 5min.

Are you high?

Best video.....Hamberger's knee buckled inwards and probably would have strained his MCL on that play. He returned pretty quick though so no real harm done. I don't think it was an intention to hurt him on Pleks' part.

no intention to hurt, but clearly interference. Refs were too busy with the hatcher hit to notice.

There was no intention to hurt at all, its just a hip check that wasnt completed. and most of Hamberger's weight was on his interior skate so that why his leg moves so easily.

I've had knee surgery and i can tell you that if his knee was hurt on that play well he wouldnt have finished the game nor been able to skate off. That right there tells me what a faker he is.

He embellished pure and simple and please; and lets not start saying "its clearly interference" when 80% of the time the Flyers are doing the same type of interference.

LOL Pleks made no more contact on him then a fart and he goes down holding his face kicking his legs for like 10 minutes. Pretends he is injured by limping off the ice, then 2 seconds later he is back fully recovered. What a joke!

OMG......WHAT A JOKE!!!!

Hamburgers knee buckled because he pulled it in trying to avoid Plekanec.....there was no contact to his knee by Plekanec what so ever!!!! Pleks did however make contact with his hip....which is called a hip check.

1. That's not really boarding if there's no distance. The point of the penalty is to reduce dangerous plays where the player gets knocked headfirst into the boards from a few feet out. What was he in danger of? Getting hit hard? Cry me a freakin river.
2. Why did he stick his face right up in the boards when a hit was coming? Most hockey players would have their arms in front of them. Maybe he saw a hot chick in the crowd and was zeroing in for the ol' smoocheroo.
im outside quebec.. clearly my viewpoint is different :sarcarsm:

seriously tho..
when you go out and state that you're going to "target the other teams best players" (yes im paraphrasing but thats the gist of what hatcher said) and you hit a guy from behind with a cross check on a guy who, at no point, was facing you or looking in your direction, you're going to get the book thrown at you like hatcher did. if, before the next game, komisarek says he's going to target someone and then hits them in any fashion thats borderline or remotely borderline.. you bet your ass hes going to get the same kinda treatment.

to make matters worse in this case, boullion and koivu are both smaller in stature and #51 couldve looked (to hatcher) like #11 and you got yourself an even "bigger" problem heh
